How much does the 2023 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 6,029 listings available, which gives you a healthy amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Toyota Corolla earns a 4.3/5 user rating, which fits its role as a practical compact car with broad appeal. The overview points to a sharper design than earlier Corollas, plus a wider model range that includes sedan and hatchback body styles, a hybrid sedan, and the GR Corolla hatchback. It also highlights a facelift with updated styling, a new eight-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and added convenience features on most models. If you want a sensible daily driver with more personality and variety than the Corolla nameplate has sometimes offered, this model year lines up well with that use case. Good and great deals account for 33.1% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview describes the 2023 Corolla as well engineered and built to last, with reliability as one of its core strengths. It also frames the car as competent and easy to live with rather than exciting, which usually suits buyers who prioritize dependable everyday ownership. For used buyers, that points to relatively low long-term ownership risk if you choose a well-maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not guarantee the specific car you’re considering has a clean past. Put inspection priority on condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear that could affect long-term reliability or resale. Focus especially on how the car presents overall, since a clean, well-kept example is the safest way to preserve the Corolla’s value and ownership appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without needing to rush.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,029 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,154, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $20,152 sits slightly above last year's $20,144.

That small increase suggests the Corolla is holding value rather than sliding, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also makes it easier to estimate what your car may be worth after a few years of ownership. Because the market has been steady, a clean, well-kept Corolla should remain relatively easy to price and move when it’s time to trade in or sell privately.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $18,468, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $20,152 average.
• It offers a familiar, versatile Corolla formula with multiple body styles and powertrain choices.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the fresher design, updated tech, and broader appeal. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable with an older, more familiar version of the same basic formula, the 2022 is the better value play.
