Is the 2023 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its sporty features, fun driving experience, handling, and standard features, while also highlighting the high-quality interior and comfortable space. For you, that means the Macan makes the most sense if you want a compact luxury SUV that prioritizes driving enjoyment and premium feel over maximum practicality. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Porsche Macan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a reliable, dependable ownership experience, with praise for a trouble-free feel and confidence over the long term. That said, used luxury SUVs can still carry higher ownership risk if maintenance has been deferred, so you should pay close attention to service history and overall condition before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Macan?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s past matches the seller’s description. Put a pre-purchase inspection at the top of your list, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or optional equipment that could be costly to repair. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear that matter most on a premium SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Macan?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,655 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $49,874, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $49,874 sits slightly below last year's $55,420.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation matter more when the market is already softer.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $45,812, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $49,874 average.
• It delivers a similarly athletic, sports-car-like driving feel.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the current year’s average while keeping the Macan’s core appeal intact.
