Is the 2023 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Porsche Cayenne. The overview describes it as a luxury SUV that still leans hard into Porsche’s performance-first identity, with a refined, sturdy, and genuinely quick character. It also stands out if you value the badge, the driving experience, and a polished feel more than outright value. With 35.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a refined, sturdy SUV with solid construction, which is a good sign if you want a used luxury vehicle that feels well put together. It also notes that the 2023 model carried forward the same broad strengths of the generation without major changes, which can be reassuring for buyers who prefer a proven formula. For used ownership, the main risk is less about basic durability and more about the higher cost of keeping a premium performance SUV in top shape over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Cayenne?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific example has a clean title and consistent service records. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a luxury SUV like this, since maintenance is pricey and you want to catch wear items before they become expensive surprises. Focus on overall condition, including tires, brakes, electronics, and interior wear, because the Cayenne’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Cayenne?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities if you move decisively on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,080 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $64,420, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $64,424 sits slightly below last year's $71,146.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean future resale gains are less likely to come from appreciation alone. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is buying well, keeping mileage reasonable, and maintaining the vehicle carefully. A well-kept Cayenne should still appeal to shoppers who want a premium performance SUV with a strong badge and polished driving feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2023 is the right pick if you want the Cayenne’s performance-first personality, refined feel, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 remains a strong choice when you want the balance of proven character and softer pricing.
