Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Porsche Cayenne. Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a reputation for reliability and relatively few recalls, along with sturdy construction and a well-established third-generation formula. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is the cost of keeping a premium SUV in top condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Cayenne?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s service records before you commit. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2023 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $63,419 sits slightly below last year's $70,584.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may temper what a future seller can ask in the near term. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside exposure later than someone who bought when prices were higher. The Cayenne’s premium positioning and strong demand from performance-minded shoppers can still support resale interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the Cayenne’s established formula, strong user satisfaction, and a market that has already moved lower on price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 is the better fit when you want a well-regarded balance of performance, practicality, and current market value.
