Is the 2023 Nissan Titan a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Nissan Titan earns a 4.4/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its build quality, warranty, comfortable ride, and advanced tech, while the truck’s unique styling also helps it stand out. For you, that means the Titan makes the most sense if you want a full-size truck with a more upscale feel and straightforward hardware rather than maximum configurability. With 35.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still room to shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Nissan Titan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights reliability-adjacent strengths like build quality and a truck that owners feel good about keeping over time. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used truck you can count on for regular ownership without chasing constant repairs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying too much for a truck whose value proposition depends heavily on condition and maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Nissan Titan?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service records before you get too far into negotiations. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used for towing or hard work. Focus on overall condition, because the Titan’s value depends heavily on finding one that has been maintained well and not just priced attractively.

If you find a listing below $34,857, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Nissan Titan's resale value?

The current average of $34,857 sits slightly below last year's $37,450.

That softer pricing suggests the Titan has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you purchase near the lower end of the range, you may reduce the amount of value left to lose over your ownership period. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,005, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,857 average.
• It offers a quieter cabin and strong value for money.

The bottom line: If you want the newer-year market with stronger inventory signals and a clear satisfaction story, the 2023 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the smarter path to compare first.
