Used 2023 Nissan Maxima for Sale near Nebraska

How much does the 2023 Nissan Maxima cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 388 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Nissan Maxima a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2023 Maxima’s appeal comes through clearly in its sporty, well-equipped character. It uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 300 horsepower, has a sleek shape, and leans into Nissan’s “Four-door sports car” identity rather than trying to be a traditional full-size sedan. It also packs in a long list of standard equipment, including an 8-inch color display with navigation and driver-assistance features that help it feel upscale for the money.

At the same time, the overview makes clear that you should expect a relaxed driving feel rather than a truly exciting one, and the back seat is not especially roomy. If you want a distinctive sedan with strong standard features and a performance-minded personality, it fits that brief well. 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Nissan Maxima reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Maxima’s overview emphasizes a familiar V6 powertrain, a long-running platform, and a generous set of standard features, all of which can make ownership feel straightforward. Its safety equipment is also a strength, with features like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, and rear cross-traffic alert included on higher trims, plus Safety Shield 360 standard across the lineup.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright complexity and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and has not accumulated hidden wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Nissan Maxima?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a history report and confirm that the car’s background matches the seller’s description. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it, especially if you want to check for signs of wear that might not show up in photos or a listing description. Focus on overall condition, service history, and how the car drives, since that will tell you more than the badge or trim level alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Nissan Maxima?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 388 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,257, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Nissan Maxima's resale value?

The current average of $26,387 sits slightly below last year's $26,475.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than sharply weakening. For a future seller, that kind of movement usually means you are not dealing with a dramatic drop in value, but you also should not expect rapid appreciation. The best resale outcomes will likely come from a well-kept example with strong presentation, clean history, and desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Maxima or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this price band and value a stable market with decent deal availability, the 2023 is the cleanest primary choice. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2023 gives you a balanced mix of inventory, condition, and owner satisfaction that makes it easy to recommend as the default pick.
