The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB earns a mixed but workable case for shoppers who want an electric luxury crossover at a lower used price point, especially if you value a more accessible entry into the brand. What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s maintenance record before you commit. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, and overall interior and exterior condition so you can spot wear that may not show up in photos. Because this is an EV, it also makes sense to focus on how the car has been used and charged over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB?

This is a selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 284 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,852, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB's resale value?

The current average of $27,852 sits slightly below last year's $31,704.

That price movement suggests the EQB has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. If you plan to sell later, the softer market means your resale outcome will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the car has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation should matter more when you eventually list it.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.15% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• The 2022 offers a more basic but practical entry into Mercedes’ electric crossover lineup.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better starting point if you want the strongest mix of price relief and available inventory in this model-year window. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2022 can still make sense, but you should be prepared for a more basic overall package.
