Used 2023 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearGrand Rapids, MI

How much does the 2023 Lincoln Aviator cost?

Prices have softened 14.46% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,258 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from users, and the expert rating is 7/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The 2023 Aviator is built around Lincoln’s quiet, comfort-first “Quiet Flight” approach, so you’re getting a three-row luxury SUV that prioritizes a serene cabin and an upscale feel. The expert evaluation also points to great handling, a comfortable ride, and an impressive stereo, which fit that use case well.

The trade-offs are clear: the electric range is unimpressive, the third row is cramped, and the technology is outdated. Even so, if you want a refined family SUV rather than something sporty, the Aviator’s strengths line up with that mission.

33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there’s still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Aviator’s appeal is rooted in comfort, luxury, and a calm driving character, and the expert evaluation reinforces that it’s designed to be easy to live with rather than demanding. Its powertrain and cabin tech are aimed at relaxed ownership, and the overall package is consistent with a premium, comfort-focused SUV.

Lincoln also leans into ownership perks, including valet pick-up and drop-off for scheduled service and a loaner vehicle, which can make routine maintenance feel less burdensome. If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is that dated technology and a cramped third row may matter more as the vehicle ages than its comfort advantages do.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any Aviator you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall condition, since this model’s tech-heavy setup is a major part of what you’re paying for. Pay close attention to whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim level and whether everything functions as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Aviator lineup includes Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, and Black Label Grand Touring. The base trims focus on the core luxury experience, while the Grand Touring versions add plug-in hybrid hardware and standard AWD. If you want the most complete feature set, the fully loaded Black Label Grand Touring stands out, but the base trims are where you’ll want to watch for equipment gaps.
• Powertrain: A twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 is standard on the gas models, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and either RWD or AWD. The Grand Touring versions add a 75-kilowatt electric motor and a 13.6-kilowatt-hour battery pack, with 21 miles of electric driving range and 23 mpg combined in hybrid mode.
• Safety package: Lincoln uses Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 driver-aid collections, and availability varies by trim. On the fully loaded test vehicle, the suite included automatic high-beam adaptive-pixel headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: The Aviator uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa integration, Lincoln Connect connected services, a WiFi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, and navigation. It runs Sync 3 software, which is a key thing to check carefully because the system is dated.
• Fuel efficiency: The Grand Touring plug-in hybrid is rated at 21 miles of electric range and 23 mpg combined in hybrid mode.

Which 2023 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, Black Label Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point if you want the Aviator’s quiet luxury and three-row layout without stretching to the pricier versions. It gives you the core Aviator experience, but you should expect fewer premium touches and fewer advanced features than the upper trims.
• Reserve: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger balance of luxury and value. It builds on the standard model with more upscale equipment and is the best-value choice for many shoppers who want a richer cabin without going all the way to the top.
• Black Label: This is the trim for you if you want the most upscale gas-powered Aviator experience. It leans hardest into the luxury presentation and premium materials, making it the right pick if cabin ambiance matters most.
• Grand Touring: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain. It adds the electric motor, battery pack, and standard AWD, so it’s the trim for buyers who want electrified driving and stronger efficiency.
• Black Label Grand Touring: This is the most luxurious and most fully equipped version, combining the plug-in hybrid setup with the Black Label treatment. It’s the right choice if you want the top-end Aviator and are willing to pay for it.

Safety-package availability varies by trim, so verify the exact driver-assistance equipment on any used example before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,258 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.46% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,746, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $41,746 sits slightly below last year's $48,803.

That decline suggests the Aviator has become more affordable on the used market, which can help you buy in at a better price today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale values to reflect the model’s softer pricing trend rather than hold near prior-year levels.

The upside is that the Aviator still has a clear luxury identity, and that can help support demand among shoppers who want comfort and refinement. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator safe?

The Aviator earns a Top Safety Pick from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from the NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln equips the Aviator with Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 driver-aid collections, though availability and features vary by trim. On the fully loaded test vehicle, the suite included automatic high-beam adaptive-pixel headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist.

One caveat is that the lane-keeping system can feel overly eager to hug lane markings in curves, and the driver aids are less dependable in denser traffic and wider freeway settings. You should pay close attention to how the system behaves on your usual roads during a test drive.

Should I buy a 2023 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Lincoln left the formula largely unchanged for 2023, aside from the new Jet Package and Special Edition Luxe Package.

The bottom line: If you want the Aviator’s quiet luxury, comfortable ride, and strong ownership appeal, the 2023 is the right year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully and look for a lower-priced example, but the 2023’s combination of softened pricing and solid inventory makes it a sensible buy now.
