Used 2023 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

How much does the 2023 Lincoln Aviator cost?

Prices have softened 14.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,213 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lincoln Aviator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal with some clear compromises. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The Aviator’s appeal is rooted in its quiet, comfort-focused luxury character, with a cabin that emphasizes a serene, upscale feel and a smooth ride. It also brings great handling and an impressive stereo, but you should weigh the trade-offs: unimpressive electric range, a cramped third row, and outdated technology.

For shoppers who want a three-row luxury SUV that prioritizes calm, comfort, and a premium atmosphere over driver engagement, it fits that brief well. 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Aviator is presented as a comfort-first luxury SUV with a hushed cabin and a refined driving character, and its plug-in hybrid powertrain is described as making good use of battery charge to maximize efficiency. The performance notes also suggest the drivetrain can be quick and reasonably efficient when the battery is charged, which supports everyday usability.

Lincoln also emphasizes ownership perks such as valet pick-up and drop-off for scheduled service, a loaner vehicle, and Black Label delivery benefits. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the vehicle’s dated technology and complex electrified hardware may be more frustrating to live with as mileage and age add up.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, because the Aviator’s luxury features and technology can make repairs and upkeep more expensive if prior owners neglected maintenance.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Aviator lineup spans Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, and Black Label Grand Touring, and the base trims are the ones tied to the standard twin-turbo V6 setup. Higher trims add more luxury content and, in the Grand Touring versions, the plug-in hybrid powertrain.
• Powertrain: You get a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 in the standard trims, while the Grand Touring versions pair that engine with a 75-kilowatt electric motor and a 13.6-kilowatt-hour battery pack. The plug-in hybrid setup is quick and can run on electricity for short trips, but its electric range is described as unimpressive.
• Safety package: Lincoln uses Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 driver-aid collections, with availability varying by trim. The fully loaded model includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: The Aviator uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa integration, Lincoln Connect connected services, a WiFi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, and navigation. It runs Sync 3, which is a weak point compared with the rest of the vehicle.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid is rated at 21 miles of electric driving range and 23 mpg combined in hybrid mode. In testing, it also returned 24.3 mpg over a longer drive.

Which 2023 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, and Black Label Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point if you want the Aviator’s core quiet-luxury character and standard twin-turbo V6 power without paying for the more elaborate trim content. It makes sense if you care most about the Aviator’s comfort-first personality and want to keep the purchase price lower.
• Reserve: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it moves you up the ladder without jumping all the way to the most expensive versions. It should suit you if you want a more upscale feel and more equipment while still staying away from the highest-priced trims.
• Black Label: Choose this if you want the most luxurious gas-only Aviator experience and are willing to pay for the richer materials and presentation. It’s the trim for you if cabin ambiance matters more than value.
• Grand Touring: Pick this if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain, stronger output, and the ability to drive on electricity for short trips. It’s the right fit if you can charge at home or work and want the most advanced powertrain in the lineup.
• Black Label Grand Touring: This is the top-end choice if you want the plug-in hybrid setup plus the most lavish presentation and equipment. It’s best for buyers who want the fullest Aviator experience and are comfortable paying for it.

Availability and features vary by trim level, so make sure the specific vehicle you’re considering has the safety equipment you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

The market looks selective rather than overheated, which gives you room to shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,213 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,267, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $42,271 sits slightly below last year's $49,159.

That drop suggests the Aviator has moved into a more buyer-friendly pricing zone, which can help you if you’re shopping now but may pressure future resale returns if you buy at the wrong price. For a seller, the key takeaway is that the market has softened enough that pricing competitively matters more than ever.

If you own one and keep it in strong condition, you’ll be better positioned to hold value than owners of neglected examples. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator safe?

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator earns a Top Safety Pick from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln equips the Aviator with Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 driver-aid collections, though availability and features vary by trim level. On a fully loaded model, you can get adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist.

One caveat is that the lane-keeping system can feel overly eager in curves, and the driver aids are less dependable in denser traffic and wider freeway settings. That means the Aviator’s safety tech is strong on paper, but you should still test it carefully on your own routes before buying.

Should I buy a 2023 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Lincoln left the formula largely unchanged for 2023, aside from the new Jet Package and Special Edition Luxe Package.

The bottom line: The 2023 Aviator makes the most sense if you want the current-year version of Lincoln’s quiet, comfort-first luxury SUV and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 remains the cleaner choice if you want the latest version of this setup without giving up the Aviator’s core strengths.
