CarGurus Analysis: 2023 Lexus GX
overall

Summary
With 1,431 currently listed for sale and an average price of $57,482.00, 34.7% of 2023 Lexus GX models for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2023 Lexus GX 4.75 / 5 stars.
88.8% of 2023 Lexus GX models on CarGurus are accident free.
The 2023 Lexus GX features a powerful V8 engine, impressive off-road capabilities, and a luxurious feel, making it a strong contender for those seeking a rugged yet refined SUV.
Why it stands out
The 2023 Lexus GX distinguishes itself with its robust V8 engine, delivering 301 horsepower and a towing capacity of 6,500 pounds, making it a solid choice for buyers who prioritize performance and off-road capability. Despite its age, the GX maintains a loyal following due to its luxurious interior and commanding driving position. However, it does face criticism for its outdated technology and poor fuel economy, with an EPA rating of 15 mpg city and 19 mpg highway. The GX's design, while visually striking with its large spindle grille and flared fenders, also reflects its utilitarian roots, making it suitable for both urban and rugged environments. While it may not be the most modern SUV on the market, its blend of luxury and capability continues to appeal to a niche audience.

Third GX. They are not state of the art in driver technology, the mileage isn’t great, and it’s not going to pin your head to the back of the headrest—BUT, you will only need to get rid of this car when you get sick of it. Bullet proof, comfortable, great build quality, and safe.

I was one of the lucky ones to get the last real V8 GX. Isnt it funny how the experts rate the 2023 at a 6/10 and the real world owners rate it a 4.5 out of 5. Ill take real world owners opinions over so called experts any day The 2024 is delayed, recalled before it is even available and has the same engine as the Tundra, twin turbo garbage.
