The 2023 Infiniti QX80 is a large and imposing full-size luxury SUV. It offers a commanding view of the road and standard V8 power. ## What's New for the 2023 Infiniti QX80 In 2022, the QX80 received a number of infotainment updates. For 2023, the model gains Amazon Alexa connectivity as standard equipment. Otherwise, the QX80 is largely unchanged. ## Design Trims for the 2023 Infiniti QX80 are Luxe, Premium Select, and Sensory. The Luxe trim comes with 20-inch alloy wheels. Moving up to the Premium Select and Sensory trims add 22-inch alloy wheels. ## Powertrain The QX80 comes standard with a 5.6-liter V8 engine. It makes 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a seven-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels or to available four-wheel drive (4WD). The QX80 has 9.2 inches of ground clearance. When properly equipped, the big Infiniti can tow up to 8,500 pounds. ## Interior With the second and third rows folded, the QX80 provides 95.1 cubic feet of cargo space. With the second row in use, it provides 49.6 cubic feet. With all rows upright, there are 16.6 cubic feet behind the rear seats, all accessed via a standard power liftgate. Standard features on the Luxe trim include Nappa premium leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, second-row captain's chairs, a heated steering wheel, and tri-zone automatic climate control. The Luxe trim also comes with Charcoal burl trim, a power-folding 60/40 third-row bench, and a heated/leather-wrapped steering wheel. Moving up to the Premium Select trim adds a unique mocha burl interior trim. Aside from some exterior tweaks, it's largely unchanged from the Luxe. The range-topping Sensory trim includes features such as perforated, semi-aniline premium leather seats, ventilated front seats, remote-folding second-row seats, heated second-row seats, and a wall-style power outlet in the rear of the center console. ## Technology The 2023 QX80 comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and even Amazon Alexa. It also comes with four USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless device charging, and satellite radio. The QX80 comes standard with a 13-speaker Bose premium stereo and it's available with an upgraded 17-speaker Bose sound system. A dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system is also available. ## Safety Standard driver-assistance features include forward collision avoidance, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and a 360-degree parking camera. There are few optional bits of safety tech: the adaptive headlights that turn with the direction of the steering wheel, for example. ## Pricing As of this writing, the 2023 Infiniti QX80 has a base MSRP of $72,700 for the Luxe trim. The Premium Select trim starts at $75,800, and the range-topping Sensory trim starts at $84,350. 4WD can be added to each trim for an additional $3,100.
