What is the 2023 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $34,247 sits slightly below last year's $38,061.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. Should I buy a 2023 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds an all-electric version to the lineup.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $30,972, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,247 average.
• It emphasizes distinctive design and a clear standard-versus-upgrade powertrain choice.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,011, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $34,247 average.
• It adds broader powertrain choice and a more individual-feeling luxury crossover personality.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and market availability, the 2023 is the smart default. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2022 is the value play; if you want to spend more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2024 is the step up.
