How much does the 2023 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 9.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,155 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, technology, and performance, and they also highlight the smooth ride quality on longer trips. The cabin quality and premium features come through strongly in owner feedback, while the driving experience is described as refined and enjoyable.

The main trade-offs are a tight rear seat and an infotainment controller that can be confusing. For you, that means the GV70 makes the most sense if you value upscale materials, comfort, and a polished driving feel more than maximum rear-seat space or the simplest controls.

Good and great deals account for 38.4% of listings, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort, premium quality, and a trouble-free impression over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes the GV70’s generous warranty coverage and its well-rounded, composed character, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

Genesis backs the GV70 with a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, which is a meaningful ownership perk if you plan to keep the vehicle for the long haul.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well and that its electronics and comfort features are working properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has advanced driver-assistance or premium comfort features. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and whether the technology works as intended, since this model leans heavily on equipment and electronics.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 2.5T is already well equipped with power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, four USB ports, wireless device charging, a hands-free power liftgate, remote start, remote keyless entry, and adaptive cruise control. The 3.5T adds genuine leather upholstery, 19-inch alloy wheels, a wall-style power outlet, massaging front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and performance-inspired touches, so it is the better pick if you want the richer cabin and stronger feature set.
• Powertrain: The 2.5T uses a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.5T uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, and the V6 is the choice if you want more urgency.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, driver attention monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. On the 2.5T, the Advance Package adds a blind-spot camera system, reverse automatic emergency braking, and a 360-degree parking camera system; on the 3.5T, those features come with the Sport Advance package.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 14.5-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It also includes four USB ports, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a nine-speaker stereo system.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder returns 22 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined, while the V6 returns 19 mpg city, 24 highway, and 21 combined. Genesis recommends premium fuel for both engines.

Which 2023 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis GV70 is offered in 2 trim levels: 2.5T and 3.5T.

• 3.5T: Choose this if you want the stronger engine, richer standard equipment, and a more upscale feel right away. It adds genuine leather, massaging front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic sunroof, making it the better pick if you want the most complete gas-powered GV70.

On safety, the 2.5T Advance Package adds a blind-spot camera system, reverse automatic emergency braking, and a 360-degree parking camera system, while those features come with the 3.5T Sport Advance package.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds an all-electric GV70 variant to the lineup.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,573, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,716 average.
• It emphasizes bold design and a clear gas-engine choice.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,621, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $34,716 average.
• It adds a broader range of powertrain choices, including an all-electric option.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and feature content in this generation. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the better budget path; if you want to pay more for a newer-year alternative, the 2024 is the natural step up.
