Used 2023 Genesis G80 for Sale nearChicago, IL

How much does the 2023 Genesis G80 cost?

There are 266 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Genesis G80 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2023 Genesis G80 backs that up with a luxury-sedan formula centered on upscale design, a premium cabin, and strong value. The overview highlights a stiffer, lighter chassis, a lower center of gravity, and a modern interior that emphasizes visibility and a refined atmosphere rather than flash. It also gives you meaningful tech and safety content, plus a starting price that undercut comparable German luxury sedans when new. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding one that fits your budget.

Is the 2023 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Genesis G80’s overview points to a well-developed luxury sedan with a polished cabin, extensive standard driver-assistance equipment, and a chassis designed for a more composed, premium feel. That combination suggests a car built to deliver a consistent ownership experience rather than one that relies on gimmicks. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car has been maintained well and checked carefully, since luxury features and advanced tech can be costly if neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put the inspection priority on the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall condition, since the overview notes that the technology can be unintuitive. Focus on signs of wear that would be expensive to correct on a luxury sedan, especially if you want the car to feel as premium as it should.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 266 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,674, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $35,504 sits slightly below last year's $36,530.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market continues to value this model. If prices stay stable or recover, a well-kept G80 should hold up reasonably well because it offers strong equipment and luxury appeal for the money. If depreciation continues, your best protection is buying at a good entry price and keeping the car in excellent condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It emphasizes a quiet ride and premium cabin materials.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger value proposition and a broader set of current-market opportunities. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2022 can make sense when its condition and equipment line up well, but the 2023 is the better primary target for most shoppers because it combines strong owner satisfaction with softer pricing and solid deal availability.
