How much does the 2023 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 10.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,502 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

Yes — the 2023 GMC Yukon XL earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners most often praise its spaciousness, features, style, and drivability, and they also value it as a more attainable alternative to pricier luxury SUVs. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a large SUV with room for passengers and cargo, plus a premium feel without moving all the way upmarket. With 38.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centered on the vehicle’s spaciousness, features, style, and drivability. That said, a few drivers have noted concerns about potential electrical issues and rearview mirror functionality, so you should pay attention to those areas during a used-car inspection. For used buyers, the long-term risk looks manageable if you verify condition carefully and choose a well-maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 GMC Yukon XL?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a vehicle history report to confirm accident status, title history, and service records. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for electrical systems and any rearview mirror concerns mentioned by owners. Because this is a large, feature-rich SUV, you should also focus on overall condition, since wear on interior components and convenience features can matter a lot in daily use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 GMC Yukon XL?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what to look for.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,502 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $55,535, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $55,535 sits slightly below last year's $62,382.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the key question is whether the model continues to hold buyer interest as a spacious, premium-feeling full-size SUV. Strong condition, clean history, and desirable equipment should matter a lot when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a spacious, well-liked Yukon XL and you can find one with a clean history and strong condition, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If your main priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of price, condition, and equipment.
