Used 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty for Sale nearTulsa, OK

How much does the 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty cost?

Prices have softened 6.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,965 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy number of trucks to compare.

Is the 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty a good car?

The 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty earns an 8.5/10 expert rating, and it is described as an exceptionally well-rounded large pickup with a wide range of trims that can match different needs and budgets.

The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

That lines up with the truck’s core appeal: powerful engines, impressive towing ability, and technology that is easy to use. The trade-offs are that it can get expensive quickly and its engines are thirsty, so you are balancing capability against running costs. For shoppers who want a large pickup that can work hard without feeling stripped down, it fits that use case well.

32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty reliable?

The 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty is presented as a heavy-duty truck built around serious capability, with a powertrain lineup and towing-focused hardware that support demanding use. The expert writeup also emphasizes that the 10-speed transmission manages power well and keeps the diesel engine in its optimal powerband, which is a good sign for everyday drivability and heavy-load confidence.

The cost-effectiveness notes also point to a truck that can be expensive to buy and thirsty to run, but it is still framed as a solid value because even lower trims deliver a lot of truck for the money. If you plan to keep one long term, the biggest ownership risk is that heavy-duty use, fuel consumption, and high trim pricing can make the truck costly to live with over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, then prioritize a thorough inspection of the truck’s body, bed, towing equipment, and interior wear. Because this is a large heavy-duty pickup, condition matters a lot: look closely at signs of hard work, towing abuse, and parking damage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The XL is a work truck but still includes 17-inch wheels, vinyl upholstery, a four-speaker stereo, a USB port, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The XLT adds cloth upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, two wall-style power outlets, and an integrated trailer brake controller. The Lariat brings leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, wireless device charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, a fully digital instrument panel, remote start, a heated steering wheel, and a larger 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. The King Ranch adds luxury-truck styling and premium interior treatment, while the Platinum and Limited move further upmarket.
• Powertrain: The base engine is a 6.8-liter gas V8 with 400 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. You can also get a 7.3-liter V8 with 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque, or a 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel V8 with 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. The high-output diesel raises output to 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. The 10-speed automatic manages power well, and the diesel setup is described as lively from a standstill and strong at highway speeds.
• Safety package: Starting at the XLT trim, Ford CoPilot 360 includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane centering assist, traffic sign recognition, and a 360-degree parking camera system. Some features depend on trim, so base-trim shoppers should confirm exactly what is included.
• Infotainment: The base system uses an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher trims can get a 12-inch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus a logical control layout and redundant dials for radio and climate functions.
• Fuel efficiency: According to one crowdsourced source, the 6.8-liter gas engine returns around 11 mpg, the 7.3-liter gas engine returns around 11 to 12 mpg, and the 6.7-liter diesel engine returns between 13 and 17 mpg. In combined driving, the expert test truck observed 17.9 mpg.

Which 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty trim should I buy?

The 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty is offered in 6 trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• XL: This is the most affordable path into the lineup, and it still gives you a usable work-truck setup with an 8-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and basic comfort features. It makes sense if you want the lowest entry price and do not need luxury features.
• XLT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a power-adjustable driver’s seat, cloth upholstery, trailer-brake hardware, and more everyday convenience without jumping too far up the price ladder. It is the trim to target if you want a strong mix of capability and equipment.
• Lariat: This is the first trim that feels genuinely upscale, with leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument panel, remote start, a heated steering wheel, and the larger 12-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration. Choose this if comfort and tech matter as much as work duty.
• King Ranch: This trim leans into luxury-truck character with distinctive styling, premium leather, an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo, auxiliary switches, and available towing and bed equipment on the test truck. It suits you if you want a high-end truck that still feels ready for serious use.
• Platinum: This trim offers similar comfort to the King Ranch but with more cosmopolitan styling, plus features like LED fog lights, power-deploying running boards, a powered tailgate, and power-adjustable pedals. It is a good fit if you want upscale features with a cleaner luxury look.
• Limited: This is the range-topper and includes nearly every package and option found on the other trims, including max-recline seats, a massive dual-panel sunroof, and unique styling. Buy this only if you want the most fully loaded version.

Starting at the XLT trim, Ford CoPilot 360 adds the core driver-assistance features, but the exact equipment depends on how much you spend.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find meaningful inventory.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,965 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.26% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $56,823, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $56,847 sits slightly below last year's $60,641.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you more negotiating room than a year ago. If you buy well now, you may avoid paying peak pricing and still own a truck with strong utility and broad appeal.

For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and trim. Higher-spec trucks can still command attention, but you will likely need clean history and strong presentation to stand out.

Is the 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty safe?

The 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty has not been crash-tested by NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford CoPilot 360 is the named driver-assistance suite, and depending on trim it includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane centering assist, traffic sign recognition, and a 360-degree parking camera system. For a truck this large, the parking camera system is especially important, and the available trailer-focused mirrors and trailer blind-spot monitoring add useful confidence when towing.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.26% compared with last year.
• The 2023 stands out for its broad trim range, strong powertrain lineup, and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want a well-rounded heavy-duty pickup with strong capability and a wide range of trims, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can still shop aggressively and focus on lower trims or trucks near the low end of the year-round range.
