Used 2023 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearElizabeth, NJ

How much does the 2023 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 4.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 485 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chrysler 300 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 5.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and powerful performance, and they also value its comfort and style. The overview and expert notes point to a large sedan with real muscle-car character, strong value for money, and a distinctive presence that stands out from more generic rivals.

The trade-offs are clear: the platform feels dated, the technology is outdated, and fuel economy is poor. That makes it a better fit if you want a roomy, comfortable, old-school sedan with personality rather than the latest tech-heavy family car.

Good and great deals account for 27.2% of listings, so you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a car people feel good about living with over time, especially because they describe it as comfortable, smooth-riding, and a great value. The expert notes also reinforce that this is a durable-feeling full-size sedan with a mature, well-established formula rather than a brand-new design with unknown quirks.

The performance writeup adds that the car’s platform has a Germanic feel to the ride and handling, which supports the sense that it is built to deliver a settled, composed driving experience. Chrysler also includes a first scheduled maintenance visit that is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related wear may show up in the tech, safety, and fuel-cost side of the ownership experience even if the car itself feels solid.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of body panels, paint consistency, wheels, tires, and suspension components. Because this car can be bought in higher-performance forms, it also makes sense to focus on signs of hard use, especially if the listing is a V8 model. Pay close attention to the condition of the cabin and electronics, since the platform and technology are both aging.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring and Touring L are the more mainstream choices, while the 300S adds a sportier setup and the 300C is the fully loaded, performance-focused sendoff with blacked-out styling, large 20-inch wheels, premium Laguna leather upholstery, carbon-fiber trim, and cowhide-covered dashboard surfaces. The 300C is the best-value pick if you want the most equipment and the strongest performance hardware in one package.
• Powertrain: The Touring and Touring L come only with a V6 and your choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the 300S can be had with a V6 or V8 and rear-wheel drive. The limited-production 300C uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, an eight-speed automatic, launch control, and a 4.3-second sprint to 60 mph.
• Safety package: The Safety Tec Plus Group adds forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Most of these features are optional rather than standard on all but the fully loaded 300C.
• Infotainment: The car uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through a USB data port, plus SiriusXM satellite radio, Guardian connected services, navigation, traffic reports, voice recognition, and an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The 300C returns an official 18 mpg in combined driving, and the evaluation loop produced 17.5 mpg.

Which 2023 Chrysler 300 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chrysler 300 is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, 300S, and 300C.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point if you want the Chrysler 300’s size, style, and available AWD without paying for extra performance hardware. It makes the most sense if you want the basic full-size sedan experience and plan to keep costs in check.
• Touring L: This trim is the better everyday choice if you want a more upscale feel than the Touring without jumping into the sportier or more expensive versions. It should appeal to shoppers who want comfort and value first.
• 300S: This is the trim to consider if you want a more athletic personality and the option of a V8 without going all the way to the limited-production model. It suits you if you want more character and stronger performance than the lower trims.
• 300C: This is the one to buy if you want the most desirable version of the 300 and the strongest performance story. It adds the 6.4-liter V8, suspension and braking upgrades, active exhaust, exclusive wheels, and the most complete equipment list, making it the standout choice for enthusiasts and collectors.

For safety equipment, the most advanced driver-assistance features are bundled in the Safety Tec Plus Group, and many of them are optional rather than standard on lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chrysler 300?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 485 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.52% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,574, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $29,304 sits slightly below last year's $30,693.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, which can also mean future sellers may need to price more competitively. If you buy now, you’re entering at a lower average price than a year ago, which can help cushion depreciation if the market stays steady.

The 300’s strong style, V8 appeal, and limited-production final-year status may help support demand among shoppers who want something distinctive. But the aging platform and weaker fuel economy can limit how broadly it appeals when you eventually resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chrysler 300 safe?

The Chrysler 300 gets a Marginal rating in the IIHS moderate-overlap frontal-impact test, and the IIHS says its headlight performance is Poor.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

The available driver-assistance suite is the Safety Tec Plus Group, which includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Lane-keeping assist is described as genuinely useful rather than intrusive, but most of these features are optional instead of standard on all but the fully loaded 300C.

The safety picture is held back by the car’s age, the limited standard safety tech, and the weaker crash-test results. If safety is a top priority, you should pay close attention to whether a specific listing has the full safety package.

Should I buy a 2023 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for its final-year appeal, available 6.4-liter Hemi V8, and limited-production 300C performance sendoff.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest version of the Chrysler 300 and like the idea of buying the model’s final-year sendoff, the 2023 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive and mainly want the big-sedan shape, comfort, and value, you can shop carefully and focus on the lower-priced listings rather than chasing the rarest trim.
