How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe cost?

Prices have softened 7.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,360 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Tahoe options to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its spaciousness, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and the Tahoe’s family-friendly features make it especially appealing if you need a large SUV with room for people and cargo. The overview also highlights its seating for up to nine, strong towing ability, and everyday usability, though some owners feel it is pricey for the average budget. With 41.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding one that fits your budget.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable for family use, with repeated praise for its spaciousness, smooth ride, and strong performance. That kind of consistent satisfaction suggests the Tahoe can be a trustworthy choice if you want a large SUV you can count on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about making sure the specific example has been maintained well and priced appropriately for its condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report so you can confirm the vehicle’s background and spot any prior damage or title issues. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and mechanical condition, especially because a full-size SUV like this can see a wide range of use. Focus on signs of wear that match the mileage and make sure the vehicle feels consistent with the seller’s description before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market for the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe, with meaningful deal availability and a price trend that has moved in your favor.

• Deal availability: 41.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,360 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.42% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $50,689, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $50,689 sits slightly below last year's $54,754.

That price movement suggests the Tahoe has softened in the used market, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A lower current entry price may help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless you choose a well-kept example with strong appeal. For a future seller, condition and documentation will matter even more when the market is already trending down.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 41.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Tahoe in this comparison with a favorable price trend and strong owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the primary path to consider. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2023 already offers a good mix of market value, inventory depth, and buyer confidence.
