Used 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V for Sale nearMcAllen, TX

How much does the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V cost?

Prices have softened 10.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 299 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V stands out because it combines family-hauling and towing duties with brisk performance, while still giving you the big power, space, and comfortable seating position you expect from an Escalade. That makes it a strong fit if you want a large luxury SUV that is also meant to be genuinely fun to drive.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and a high starting price. The performance and technology are the main draws, but you should be comfortable paying for that capability.

There are 38.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, which suggests you have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Escalade-V is built around a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, and the expert evaluation describes it as a serious performance setup with strong acceleration, responsive handling, and a well-tuned chassis. It also comes with a 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty, which adds some reassurance for long-term ownership.

The cost side is less comforting: premium fuel is required, and the model’s fuel economy is described as less than stellar. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that ownership costs can stay high even if the vehicle itself proves durable.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on any listing you like, then prioritize a close inspection of the tires, brakes, suspension, and interior electronics. Because this is a high-performance luxury SUV, condition matters as much as mileage, and you’ll want to confirm that the vehicle has been maintained carefully.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Escalade-V visually differentiates itself with revised lower front and rear fascias, dark 22-inch wheels, and V badges, while the cabin adds the 38-inch curved OLED display, semi-Aniline premium leather upholstery, Zebra-wood inlays, heated and ventilated 16-way power-adjustable front seats, and massage function for the front seats. The rear seats are described as stiffer than the fronts, so check whether that trade-off works for your family use.
• Powertrain: It uses an intercooled and supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque, routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission to standard all-wheel drive. The setup is tuned for strong acceleration, responsive handling, and serious towing ability.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, GM’s safety alert seat, lane-departure warning, an HD surround-view parking monitor, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, head-up display, night vision, and an augmented reality display. Super Cruise adds hands-free highway driving and automatic lane change.
• Infotainment: You get a 38-inch curved OLED screen with a 16.9-inch central touchscreen area, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and standard navigation. The left-side touchscreen adds trip computer controls plus toggles for the head-up display, night vision, and augmented-reality instrument panel.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA has not yet released fuel economy estimates for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V, but in testing it averaged 15.5 mpg. It requires premium fuel.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $104,874, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V's resale value?

The current average of $104,874 sits slightly below last year's $117,510.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained.

Because the year’s average price is still well above the low end of the range, clean examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition, you are better positioned to preserve value when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V safe?

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

You also get GM’s safety alert seat, a head-up display, night vision, and an augmented reality display.

Super Cruise is a major safety and convenience feature here, with hands-free highway driving, smooth lane following, and automatic lane change. It also monitors driver attention and can slow the vehicle down if you are not paying attention, so you still need to stay alert.

Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model stands out for combining a supercharged V8, standard all-wheel drive, and Super Cruise with automatic lane change.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive version of the Escalade-V formula, the 2023 is the one to target because it pairs strong market availability with a clear performance-and-tech identity. If you are more price-sensitive, keep shopping the broader market for a lower-mileage example near the bottom of the year-round range, since the current pricing trend gives you some negotiating room.
