Used 2023 BMW X5 for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2023 BMW X5 cost?

Prices have softened 14.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,404 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 BMW X5 a good car?

Yes — 4.75/5 is a strong user rating, and the 2023 BMW X5’s appeal comes from its mix of refinement, space, and road manners. It is a luxury midsize SUV with two rows, seating for five, generous cargo space, and outstanding visibility, so it fits well if you want a practical family vehicle that still feels driver-focused. It is also built on a rear-wheel-drive platform and can be had with inline-six or V8 engines, with xDrive all-wheel drive available. 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 BMW X5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 BMW X5’s reliability has improved in newer versions, which is encouraging if you want a used luxury SUV with a stronger ownership profile than earlier examples. Even so, it can still be costly to own, especially with V8-powered versions that are not fuel-efficient. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is higher maintenance and operating expense rather than a simple yes-or-no reliability concern.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 BMW X5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and confirm that the vehicle’s past matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with more complex equipment. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of expensive wear, since ownership costs can rise quickly if the vehicle has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 BMW X5?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,404 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,625, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 BMW X5's resale value?

The current average of $40,625 sits slightly below last year's $47,407.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples with strong service history should be easier to move than neglected ones, especially if they are priced near the lower end of the range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 BMW X5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $51,136, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $40,625 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid with about 40 miles of electric-only range.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the stronger value play and a broad pool of listings to compare. If you are willing to pay more for the newer year’s plug-in hybrid capability, the 2024 is the better secondary path for buyers who want added efficiency and can stretch the budget.
