Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 602 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 BMW X4's resale value?

The current average of $40,046 sits slightly below last year's $44,895.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the recent decline means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is documented over time. If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you improve your odds of holding buyer interest later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 BMW X4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the primary year to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2023's current market softness and solid deal availability.
