That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still support resale, especially if the vehicle remains in clean condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary choice if you want a strong mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction right now. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can still compare nearby years, but the 2023 already gives you a favorable market setup with plenty of listings and a meaningful share of good deals.
