Is the 2023 Audi Q7 a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating points to a well-liked used luxury SUV. The 2023 Q7 stands out as a three-row luxury SUV with a clean, understated design, comfortable front and second-row seating, and a cabin that feels more upscale than many rivals. It also gives you strong utility, with useful cargo space and a refined, uncluttered look that works well if you want family-friendly practicality without giving up a premium feel.

For your use case, that means the Q7 makes the most sense if you want a polished three-row SUV with a broad feature set and a cabin that feels thoughtfully executed. 43.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Q7 is described as a polished, well-equipped luxury SUV, but it also comes with tradeoffs that matter over time. The base turbo four is said to work hard, and the vehicle requires premium fuel, while repair costs can be high. That means long-term ownership risk is more about potentially expensive upkeep than about a lack of appeal in day-to-day use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific Q7 you’re considering has a clean maintenance and accident record. Prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-mileage example or one with more complex equipment. Focus on overall condition, because premium SUVs can be costly to refresh if wear items, electronics, or interior features need attention.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi Q7?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with meaningful deal availability and a healthy supply of listings.

• Deal availability: 43.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,528 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.52% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,951, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $35,951 sits slightly below last year's $40,179.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current pricing environment means you should expect value retention to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-kept examples should still draw interest because the Q7’s mix of utility, refinement, and premium branding remains appealing.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?
