What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi A4?

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the car’s maintenance record and any prior damage or repairs. Focus on overall condition, since the best used examples will usually be the ones that show consistent care rather than just low mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 745 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.74% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,598, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $27,771 sits slightly below last year's $28,263.

That price movement suggests the A4 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. A softer market today can also make the car more approachable for you now, but it means resale gains are unlikely to be dramatic unless you buy a particularly clean, well-optioned example. Strong condition and a good service history matter more when you eventually go to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,811, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $27,771 average.
• It still feels fresh and modern despite its age.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around shopping environment, the 2023 is the better target because it combines decent deal availability, solid accident-free inventory, and a favorable price trend. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in excellent condition with the features you want.
