The Aston Martin DBS is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine. It makes 712 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The DBS Coupe can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The Volante is just a smidge slower to 60 mph, doing the deed in 3.6 seconds. Both cars boast a top speed of 211 mph.

In order to maintain stability at these high speeds, the DBS features a motorsport-inspired double-diffuser as part of a suite of performance-minded aerodynamic and chassis features. The DBS also features an adaptive suspension, ventilated carbon ceramic brakes, dynamic torque vectoring, and Pirelli P-Zero high-performance tires. The suspension, steering feel, throttle response, and shift mapping are all controlled via a drive mode selector with GT, Sport, and Sport Plus drive modes.

The Aston Martin DBS returns fuel economy of 14 mpg city, 22 highway, and 17 combined. The DBS requires premium fuel.

The DBS does not come with the same number of driver-assistance features that consumers may find in a typical crossover or family sedan.
