The 2023 Aston Martin DB11 is the definition of an aspirational ultra-luxury sports car. It is long, wide, low, and fast. It has dramatic styling, thrilling performance, and a lavish cabin.

What’s New for the 2023 Aston Martin DB11

For 2023, Aston Martin has added optional 21-inch wheels from the Vantage F1 Edition. The lightweight wheels save roughly 33 pounds and come wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.

Design

The DB11 is offered as a handsome coupe or a stunning convertible, the latter of which is called the DB11 Volante. The Volante has eight layers for improved sound deadening, as well as the choice of bright or dark convertible deckled covers. The DB11 comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer performance tires.

Powertrain

There are two available powertrains in the 2023 DB11: a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12. The V8 makes 528 horsepower and 513 pound-feet of torque, while the V12 puts out 630 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Both engines route power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The DB11 V8 can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. The V12 model is even quicker, making the same run in just 3.5 seconds. The V8 has a top speed of 192 mph and the V12 has a top speed of 208 mph. The DB11’s standard adaptive suspension system ensures the super-coupe is as dynamic through corners as it is comfortable over long distances.

The V8 version of the DB11 returns fuel economy estimates of 18 mpg city, 24 highway, and 20 combined. The V12 version returns 14 mpg city, 22 highway, and 17 combined. The DB11 requires premium fuel.

Interior

Standard features in the 2023 DB11 include dual-zone automatic climate control, synthetic suede headliner, leather upholstery, hearted front seats, and power-adjustable front seats. The DB11 is available with ventilated front seats, a heated front steering wheel, and premium wood and carbon interior trim options. The DB11 has a 2+2 seating layout, with small rear seats that can be used in a pinch.

Technology

The DB11 comes standard with an eight-speaker stereo, Satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and an 8-inch digital infotainment screen in the center of the dash. This screen is operated via a rotary dial in the center console. Tech upgrades include a touchpad controller for the infotainment system, as a 10-speaker premium stereo system or a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system.

Safety

You won’t find the same suite of advanced driver-assistance features that are standard even on cars like the Toyota Camry, but the 2023 DB11 does come with blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree parking camera system. The DB11 also comes with a self-parking function.

Pricing

At the time of this writing, the 2023 Aston Martin DB11 has a base MSRP of $220,086. The V12 version starts at $235,586, and the drop-top DB11 Volante starts at $236,286. The Aston Martin DB11 is backed by a powertrain warranty that is good for three years or 36,000 miles.
