Used 2023 Acura TLX for Sale nearColumbus, OH

How much does the 2023 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 2.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 567 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Acura TLX a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Acura TLX earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating, which points to a car that delivers on style and driving enjoyment while still feeling usable day to day. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

The TLX’s appeal is strongest if you want a luxury sports sedan that feels more engaging than a typical commuter car. Its stylish design and comfortable ride make it easy to live with, while the expert review also highlights its fun-to-drive character. The trade-offs are clear, though: poor ergonomic design and limited rear-seat and cargo space make it less convincing if you need maximum practicality.

The model’s 28.4% good and great deal share suggests there are still worthwhile listings to find.

Is the 2023 Acura TLX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The TLX’s overall package suggests solid durability for used buyers who prioritize a premium driving experience. The expert review describes it as a well-rounded luxury sports sedan with strong performance and a comfortable ride, and the powertrain is presented as capable and engaging rather than fragile or overly complex. Acura also includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles, which can help reduce early ownership costs.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is less about mechanical drama and more about living with the car’s usability compromises over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Acura TLX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been driven in dense urban traffic or has visible curb rash, nose scrapes, or interior wear. Focus on cabin condition and day-to-day usability, because the TLX’s biggest compromises are in ergonomics, rear-seat room, and cargo space.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base TLX emphasizes style and comfort, but the layout can be frustrating to use, and the rear seat and cargo area are limited. Higher trims add equipment, and the Type S stands out for its performance-focused hardware and more aggressive character.
• Powertrain: Most versions use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic. The Type S adds a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 355 hp and performance upgrades that make it the sportiest choice.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, automatic high beams, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control with low-speed following, and Traffic Jam Assist. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors are included on every TLX except the base model.
• Infotainment: The system uses a 10.2-inch display with a touchpad interface rather than a touchscreen. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a three-year AcuraLink subscription are standard, but wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not supported.
• Fuel efficiency: Most versions should return between 24 mpg and 25 mpg in combined driving. The Type S is rated at 21 mpg combined and averaged 20 mpg in evaluation driving.

Which 2023 Acura TLX trim should I buy?

The 2023 Acura TLX is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Technology Package, A-Spec Package, Advance Package.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, but it’s the least equipped and misses some of the convenience and safety upgrades found higher up the range. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting point and are comfortable with the TLX’s core layout.
• Technology Package: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds meaningful equipment without pushing you into the more expensive upper trims. If you want a well-rounded TLX, this is the trim to target first.
• A-Spec Package: This trim leans into a more distinctive look and can be paired with either FWD or SH-AWD, giving you more flexibility. It suits you if style matters and you want a more expressive version of the TLX.
• Advance Package: This is the comfort- and convenience-oriented pick, and it’s the one to choose if you want the most upscale daily-driver experience short of the Type S.

The Type S also gets rain-sensing wipers and a wiper de-icer system, but it does not include the head-up display or surround-view camera found on the Advance trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Acura TLX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 567 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,245, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $34,372 sits slightly below last year's $35,203.

That decline suggests the TLX has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper short-term resale gains if you plan to sell soon. The current pricing also sits within a fairly tight annual range, which points to a market that is stable rather than volatile. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you should be able to preserve value reasonably well.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Acura TLX safe?

The 2023 Acura TLX earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and a five-star overall crash-test rating from NHTSA, including five-star rollover resistance and four-star front passenger protection in a frontal-impact collision.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard, and it brings forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, automatic high beams, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control with low-speed following, and Traffic Jam Assist. On all but the base model, you also get blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.

One caveat is that the lane-keeping systems can issue false alerts in some conditions, and the adaptive cruise control can be slow to resume speed after traffic clears. The Type S also skips the head-up display and surround-view camera that you get on the Advance trim.

Should I buy a 2023 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends style, comfort, and driving enjoyment while still offering strong safety and performance.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $32,346, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,372 average.
• It offers strong road presence and genuine performance capability.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $36,809, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $34,372 average.
• It adds a new grille and bigger screens.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the best balance of price, safety, and driving enjoyment. If your budget is tighter, the 2022 is the value play; if you want the newer styling and updated screens, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
