Used 2022 Toyota Supra for Sale nearMontgomery, AL

How much does the 2022 Toyota Supra cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 191 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Toyota Supra a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Toyota Supra earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners repeatedly praise its power, fun driving experience, sporty feel, and stylish interior. That lines up with the car’s mission as a driver-focused sports coupe, especially if you want something that stands out and feels engaging on the road. The main trade-offs are the missing manual transmission and the small touchscreen, and the car’s use-case is clearly centered on buyers who value performance and style over practicality. With 22.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Toyota Supra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter most to enthusiasts: strong performance, enjoyable driving, and a sporty character that owners seem happy to live with over time. The expert evaluation also notes that the Supra’s powertrain relies heavily on BMW engineering and will require BMW-level maintenance and repair, which can be pricier than the average Toyota budget. For used buyers, that means the ownership experience can be rewarding, but long-term costs deserve close attention.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on condition, maintenance history, and any signs of hard use. Because this is a sports coupe, you should pay extra attention to how the car was driven and whether it has been modified or neglected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 2.0 is the most affordable entry point, while the 3.0 adds the stronger six-cylinder engine. The 3.0 Premium adds a full-color head-up display and is the sweet spot in the lineup, while the A91-CF Edition sits at the top with limited-production carbon-fiber content. The base trim misses some of the richer equipment found higher up, so you should compare features carefully before settling on the cheapest example.
• Powertrain: You get either a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, or a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 382 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque. Both use rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic, and both require premium fuel. The six-cylinder models are the ones that most fully deliver the Supra’s performance character.
• Safety package: Every model includes front, side, knee, and curtain airbags, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. The Driver Assist Package adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors with emergency braking function. On lower trims, those extra driver aids are only available through a larger package.
• Infotainment: The base setup uses an 8.8-inch display with AM/FM, digital audio, satellite radio, USB, and Bluetooth. Wireless Apple CarPlay is included on the 3.0 Premium and A91-CF Edition, and the 3.0 Premium also gets navigation and voice recognition. The base system is the one most likely to feel sparse if you want the latest convenience tech.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0 is rated at 25 mpg city/32 mpg highway/28 mpg combined, while six-cylinder models return 22 mpg city/30 mpg highway/25 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2022 Toyota Supra is offered in 4 trim levels: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and A91-CF Edition.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0: This is the entry point if you want the lowest starting price and still want the Supra’s styling and rear-wheel-drive character. It gives you the turbocharged four-cylinder engine and the core safety equipment, but it is the least richly equipped version and is best for buyers who care most about getting into the model at the lowest cost.
• 3.0: This is the best-value choice if you want the stronger six-cylinder engine without stepping all the way up the trim ladder. It adds the more powerful powertrain and a better audio system, making it the most straightforward pick for shoppers who prioritize performance first.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the trim to target if you want the most balanced mix of performance, comfort, and convenience. It adds the head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, and the available Driver Assist Package, which makes it the sweet spot in the lineup.
• A91-CF Edition: This is the limited-production top trim for buyers who want exclusivity and the most distinctive appearance. It includes the premium equipment and can also be paired with the Driver Assist Package, but it makes the most sense if rarity matters to you as much as equipment.

The Driver Assist Package is available on the 3.0 Premium and A91-CF Edition, while the broader Safety and Technology Package is how you add those features to the 2.0 and 3.0.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota Supra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 191 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $49,266, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota Supra's resale value?

The current average of $50,914 sits slightly below last year's $50,998.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than volatile. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand instead of a sharp drop in value. The limited inventory also helps support pricing discipline, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2022 Toyota Supra hasn’t been published with crash-test ratings from NHTSA or IIHS, so there is no crash-test lead to cite here.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every model includes front, side, knee, and curtain airbags, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. The Driver Assist Package adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors with emergency braking function. If you want those extra driver aids, note that they are not standard on every trim.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 keeps the turbocharged engine lineup and rear-wheel-drive setup that define the Supra’s performance focus.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $47,403, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $50,914 average.
• It offers two new engines and a distinctive, attention-grabbing sports-car character.

Consider the 2023 if:

• A manual transmission finally arrives for more engaging driving.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year balance of pricing stability, strong owner satisfaction, and a well-established feature set, the 2022 is the cleanest choice. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play, while the 2023 makes more sense if you want the manual-transmission upgrade.
