Used 2022 Toyota Camry for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2022 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 2.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,319 listings available, which suggests solid inventory availability for shoppers.

Is the 2022 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Toyota Camry earns a 4.88/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its reliability, fuel efficiency, and stylish design, and they also value the comfortable interior and strong value for money. The main trade-offs are the outdated technology and the fact that some drivers want more power from the four-cylinder engine.

For your needs, that makes the Camry a strong fit if you want a roomy, efficient, and affordable mainstream sedan with broad appeal. It also lines up well if you care more about everyday usability than flashier tech or a more engaging base engine. The market still looks healthy, with 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2022 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe the Camry as reliable, fuel-efficient, and easy to live with, with language that points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience over time. The expert evaluation also reinforces that theme by calling it a comfortable, affordable, reliable, safe, and efficient family car.

Toyota also includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for the first two years of ownership, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car has been maintained properly and hasn’t been worn down by heavy prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Toyota Camry?

At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a close inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and signs of prior repair. It also makes sense to focus on the cabin and electronics, since the technology is one of the model’s weaker points. If you’re considering a TRD, pay extra attention to whether the car’s sport-focused setup still suits your daily driving needs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TRD stands out with an aerodynamic body kit, matte-black 19-inch wheels, red brake calipers, red accent stripes and badges, and a more aggressive rear diffuser panel. It also has a more dramatic look than the rest of the lineup, while the base trims are more conventional.
• Powertrain: You can choose a four-cylinder engine, a V6 engine, or a gas-electric hybrid powertrain. The V6 is the standout for stronger acceleration, while the hybrid is the efficiency play.
• Safety package: Every 2022 Camry has Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+, which includes adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the TRD but optional on LE and SE.
• Infotainment: The TRD comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen, and a 9-inch touchscreen is available. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and SiriusXM satellite radio are included, along with subscription-based connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: The TRD is rated at 25 mpg combined, and the hybrid powertrain can deliver more than 50 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2022 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2022 Toyota Camry is offered in 13 trim levels: LE, SE, XLE, XSE, TRD, and SE Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the value-oriented starting point, and it makes sense if you want the Camry’s core strengths without paying for extra appearance or performance upgrades.
• SE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it keeps the Camry affordable while adding a sportier feel and serving as the basis for the TRD.
• XLE: Choose this if you want a more upscale take on the Camry and are willing to pay more for comfort-oriented equipment.
• XSE: This is the sportier, more upscale choice near the top of the lineup, best if you want a more premium-feeling Camry.
• TRD: Pick this if you want the most performance-focused Camry, with the V6, track-tuned suspension, and aggressive styling.
• SE Hybrid: This is the efficiency-focused choice if you want hybrid fuel economy with a sportier trim flavor.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the TRD but optional on LE and SE.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,319 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,364, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $23,116 sits slightly below last year's $23,665.

That softer pricing suggests the Camry is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you if you’re shopping now. For a future seller, it means the market may reward well-kept examples, but you should not expect a strong short-term price spike. The model’s broad appeal still helps support demand, especially for versions with the right equipment and condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2022 Toyota Camry earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and five-star ratings in every single evaluation the NHTSA performs.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ is standard on every 2022 Camry, and it includes adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance. Together, those features can create a hands-on, semi-autonomous highway-driving function. Safety Connect is also standard, with automatic collision notification, an emergency assistance button, roadside assistance access, and a stolen vehicle locator.

One caveat is that the lane-keeping and adaptive cruise systems can sometimes feel overly intrusive or overly cautious, especially on roads with changing lane markings or curves. Even so, the overall safety package is a major strength for this model year.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 adds standard heated side mirrors across the lineup and keeps the Camry’s strong safety and value mix.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,816, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,116 average.
• It offers reliability and practicality with more powertrain and drivetrain flexibility.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of safety, value, and broad appeal, the 2022 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the smarter budget path and still delivers the Camry’s core strengths.
