Should I buy a 2022 Tesla Model X or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.10% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the right pick if you want the updated Model X experience with strong owner approval, a broad feature set, and a market that still supports demand. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2022 remains the better all-around choice when you want the newer cabin and strong used-market appeal.
