Used 2022 Subaru Impreza for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2022 Subaru Impreza cost?

Prices have softened 7.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 665 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Generally — the 4.3/5 user rating points to solid owner satisfaction, and the overview frames the Impreza as a practical all-weather compact car with standard all-wheel drive. That makes it a sensible fit if you want year-round confidence, everyday livability, and capable traction for commuting, errands, and rough weather. Its appeal is more about usefulness than flash, so you should expect a straightforward car that prioritizes function over polish. 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Subaru Impreza reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a car built around practicality and all-weather confidence, with standard all-wheel drive as a core strength. It also notes that many examples have been heavily used, abused, or modified, so condition matters a lot when you shop used. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a rough example that has already absorbed hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Subaru Impreza?

At 72% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on signs of hard use, since the overview notes that many examples have been heavily used, abused, or modified. Focus on overall condition, maintenance evidence, and whether the car still feels like a clean, unmodified example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Subaru Impreza?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 665 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.89% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,780, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $17,784 sits slightly below last year's $19,308.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you should expect a more competitive resale environment unless your car is especially clean and well maintained. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $17,027, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $17,784 average.
• It offers standard all-wheel drive and a straightforward, practical compact-car setup.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2022 if you want the current-year market, a decent deal share, and a practical all-weather compact car. If your priority is saving money first, the 2021 is the better value path because it undercuts the current average while keeping the Impreza’s core strengths.
