Used 2022 Nissan Titan for Sale nearLubbock, TX

How much does the 2022 Nissan Titan cost?

Prices have softened 9.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 882 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Nissan Titan a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Nissan Titan earns a 4.5/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out with a stylish design and a quiet cabin, and it’s offered as a straightforward full-size pickup with King Cab and Crew Cab configurations. The standard 5.6-liter V8 and available rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive keep the formula simple, while the expert notes also point to strong value for money.

The main trade-offs are that a manual transmission isn’t available and fuel economy is poor.

With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Nissan Titan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Titan’s straightforward V8 powertrain and simple truck formula support its reputation for being easy to live with, and the expert notes emphasize that it delivers satisfying thrust with a well-matched transmission. Its quiet cabin and solid build quality also point to a truck that should feel composed over time.

The dependability story is helped by the truck’s standard safety and convenience equipment, which reduces the sense that you need to hunt for a heavily optioned version to get a well-rounded ownership experience. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that poor fuel economy can make day-to-day ownership more expensive than you might expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan Titan?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a truck that’s been used for towing or hauling. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and signs of heavy-duty use, since those can matter more than mileage alone on a pickup.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Titan’s cabin is clean and airy, with excellent material selection and build quality, but the base setup is simpler than higher trims. The available moonroof package adds a dual-panel panoramic moonroof and a power sliding rear window, while higher trims bring more upscale cabin equipment.
• Powertrain: Every model uses the same 5.6-liter gasoline V8 with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It makes 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, and the truck is tuned for strong, linear power delivery.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist, and rear automatic braking. Standard intelligent forward collision warning and eight airbags are also included.
• Infotainment: An 8-inch center display is standard, and a 9-inch touchscreen is available. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a WiFi hotspot, NissanConnect, Bluetooth, and two USB ports.
• Fuel efficiency: RWD models are estimated at 16 mpg city and 21 mpg highway, while 4WD models are rated at 15 mpg city and 21 mpg highway. The Pro-4X is rated at 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Nissan Titan trim should I buy?

The 2022 Nissan Titan is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, Pro-4X, Platinum Reserve, and S Crew Cab.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Titan’s core strengths at the lowest price. It’s the trim to consider if you want the standard V8, the full safety suite, and a straightforward truck without paying for extras you may not need.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more flexibility, including King Cab availability and more equipment choices, while staying below the off-road and luxury-focused versions.
• Pro-4X: This is the one to choose if you want the off-road-oriented setup. It comes with 4WD, an electronically locking rear differential, all-terrain tires, Bilstein off-road shocks, and the available 9-inch touchscreen and Fender audio system.
• Platinum Reserve: This is the upscale choice, with the premium audio system standard and NissanConnect with navigation included. It’s the trim to buy if you want the most comfort and convenience features.
• S Crew Cab: This is the practical pick if you want the base Titan formula with more passenger space. It keeps the truck simple while giving you the Crew Cab body style.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Titan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 882 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,123, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Titan's resale value?

The current average of $28,123 sits slightly below last year's $31,065.

That price movement suggests the Titan has softened enough to create a more buyer-friendly entry point today, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s higher average.

The Titan’s straightforward formula and strong equipment list can help it remain appealing to shoppers who want a simple full-size pickup. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Nissan Titan safe?

The Titan received top “Good” ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in all but the “small overlap front: passenger-side” crash test, where it received an “Acceptable” rating. It also earned “Superior” ratings for front crash prevention tech, both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist, and rear automatic braking. Standard intelligent forward collision warning and eight airbags are also included.

A key caveat is that the standard halogen reflector headlights on the S and SV trims received a “Poor” rating, while the Pro-4X and Platinum Reserve use full LED headlights that were not rated.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 keeps the Titan’s simple V8 formula, standard safety suite, and quiet-cabin appeal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,546, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $28,123 average.
• It brings a strong mix of standard power, technology, and safety features.

The 2022 is the better primary target if you want the lower average price and the same core Titan strengths. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2021 only makes sense if you find a cleaner or better-equipped example that justifies the higher average cost.
