The overview describes it as a midsize SUV that leans toward comfort and style, with a smooth V6 powertrain, a comfortable ride, and a well-equipped cabin. What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully for prior damage, title issues, and any signs of inconsistent maintenance. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the ride quality, cabin condition, and how well the V6 and CVT behave under normal driving. Because this model prioritizes comfort, pay close attention to suspension feel, interior wear, and whether the vehicle has been used in a way that matches its relaxed character.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $18,758, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $21,686 average.
• It offers a comfortable, straightforward two-row setup with standard safety features.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and buyer satisfaction, the 2022 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the Murano’s comfort-focused character.
