How much does the 2022 Nissan LEAF cost?

There are 254 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Nissan LEAF a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Nissan LEAF earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview frames it as a value-focused electric hatchback with a quiet cabin, comfortable everyday manners, and useful tech such as e-Pedal, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Nissan Safety Shield 360, and vehicle-to-home capability through NissanConnect. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want an affordable EV that emphasizes usability and comfort over maximum range or cutting-edge charging hardware. 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Nissan LEAF reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also points to a well-established second-generation design with standard forward collision warning and mitigation with automatic braking, plus a broader feature set that supports everyday use. At the same time, the battery is air-cooled, so used buyers should think carefully about range loss and overall battery condition as the car ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan LEAF?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on battery health, charging behavior, and how the car has been used day to day. It also makes sense to review the history report for any collision or repair records and to pay close attention to cabin condition, charging equipment, and whether the car still fits your commute and charging routine.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan LEAF?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 254 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,329, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan LEAF's resale value?

The current average of $15,008 sits slightly above last year's $14,893.

That small increase suggests the LEAF has held its value fairly well in the near term, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also usually means the market understands what this car is worth, so you are less likely to see dramatic swings. For a future seller, that can translate into more predictable demand as long as the car remains in good condition and the battery health is still strong.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan LEAF or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 LEAF is the right path if you want a used EV that balances value, comfort, and everyday tech with a stable market and plenty of listings to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also keep nearby model years on your shortlist, but the 2022 stands out as a sensible buy when you want a well-liked, affordable electric hatchback with broad availability.
