Used 2022 Nissan Armada for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2022 Nissan Armada cost?

Prices have softened 5.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,099 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Nissan Armada earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

Owners consistently praise its performance, luxury, and features, along with its spacious interior and towing capacity. The Armada’s body-on-frame setup and V8 power also fit buyers who want a large SUV with a traditional truck-based feel and plenty of cabin room. On the trade-off side, the expert review points to poor fuel economy and a stereo that falls short of expectations.

With a 38.5% share of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centered on performance and features that hold up well over time. The expert review reinforces that sense of durability by describing the Armada as a robust, body-on-frame SUV with a proven V8 powertrain and a conventional mechanical setup.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its heavy fuel use can make day-to-day running costs higher than you may want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a full ownership record. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on wear items, signs of heavy towing, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently. It also makes sense to compare trim equipment closely, since some convenience and audio features vary meaningfully by version.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S trim has the most limited audio setup, while the SV adds two speakers and higher trims bring more upscale equipment. If you care about better sound and a more premium feel, the higher trims are the safer bet.
• Powertrain: Every Armada uses a naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control with full speed range, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent lane intervention, and rear-door alert are also included.
• Infotainment: The Armada uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto. It also includes a Wi-Fi hot spot, wireless device charging on all but S models, and over-the-air-capable connected services through NissanConnect.
• Fuel efficiency: RWD models are rated at 14 mpg city/19 mpg highway/16 mpg combined, while 4WD versions return 13 mpg city/18 mpg highway/15 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Nissan Armada trim should I buy?

The 2022 Nissan Armada is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it comes with the most basic audio setup and lacks the wireless charging pad found on higher trims. It makes sense if you want the Armada’s core V8 power and space at the lowest price, but it is not the best value if you care about comfort or tech.
• SV: This trim adds two speakers and brings more equipment without jumping all the way to the pricier upper trims. It is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it balances price and features more effectively than the base model.
• SL: This is the trim to target if you plan to tow, because it adds the trailer brake controller and trailer sway control. It also steps up the equipment level enough to feel more complete for long-term ownership.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious version, with the richest feature set and the strongest premium presentation. It suits you best if you want the Armada to feel as upscale as possible and do not mind paying for it.

For safety-minded shoppers, the standard driver-assistance suite is already broad across the lineup, but the towing-related safety hardware is more complete on the SL and Platinum.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,099 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,451, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Armada's resale value?

The current average of $31,760 sits slightly below last year's $33,475.

That decline suggests the Armada has softened in the market, which can work in your favor as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means you should expect a more competitive market and may need to price aggressively to move the vehicle. Strong demand for large SUVs with V8 power and three-row space can still help support values, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada safe?

The 2022 Nissan Armada has not been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Armada also adds adaptive cruise control with full speed range, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent lane intervention, and rear-door alert. A trailer brake controller is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum models, while trailer sway control is standard on the SL and Platinum.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs a body-on-frame design with a V8 and a roomy cabin for buyers who want traditional full-size SUV character.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,128, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $31,760 average.
• It brings a freshened appearance and upgraded technology.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market value, owner satisfaction, and traditional full-size SUV capability, the 2022 is the better primary choice. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative because it delivers similar core strengths for less money.
