Used 2022 Nissan Armada for Sale nearBaltimore, MD

How much does the 2022 Nissan Armada cost?

Prices have softened 6.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,122 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Nissan Armada earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

Owners consistently praise its performance, spacious interior, and towing capacity, and they also highlight the luxury feel and feature content. The Armada’s body-on-frame layout and large-cabin packaging make it a strong fit if you want a traditional full-size SUV with room for people and cargo. The main trade-offs are its poor fuel economy and a stereo that some shoppers may find lacking.

With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is enough market activity to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV with strong performance and a reputation for being comfortable and capable over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes its robust, truck-based construction and strong mechanical character, which supports the sense that it is built for long-term use. Nissan’s standard safety and convenience equipment adds to the impression of a well-rounded ownership experience.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term ownership risk is still the Armada’s high fuel consumption and the possibility that maintenance costs can add up on a large V8 SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check each listing carefully, because a clean history report does not guarantee perfect condition. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large SUV that may have been used for towing, family hauling, or long-distance driving. Focus on tire wear, brake condition, interior wear, and signs of heavy use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S trim has the most limited audio setup, with four speakers and no factory audio upgrade, while the SV adds two speakers. Higher trims bring more upscale equipment, including 20-inch wheels on the SL and 22-inch wheels on the Platinum.
• Powertrain: Every Armada uses a naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control with full speed range, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent lane intervention, and rear-door alert are also included.
• Infotainment: The Armada uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen with NissanConnect, wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, Bluetooth, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless device charging on all but S models.
• Fuel efficiency: Rear-wheel-drive models are rated at 14 mpg city and 19 mpg highway, while four-wheel-drive versions are rated at 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Nissan Armada trim should I buy?

The 2022 Nissan Armada is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it comes with the most basic audio setup and lacks the wireless charging pad found on higher trims. It makes sense if you want the Armada’s core V8 power and space at the lowest price.
• SV: This adds more speakers and is the first step up if you want a better-equipped daily driver without jumping too far in price. It is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it balances equipment and cost.
• SL: This trim adds more upscale content and is the better pick if you want a more premium feel, especially since it also brings the trailer brake controller and trailer sway control.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious version, with the richest wheel and audio setup plus the available family entertainment system. It suits you best if you want the most comfort and convenience features.

If you plan to tow, the SL or Platinum is the smarter choice because trailer sway control is standard on those trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Armada?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,122 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,161, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Armada's resale value?

The current average of $31,161 sits slightly below last year's $33,395.

That price movement suggests the Armada has softened enough to create a better entry point for used buyers, but it also means sellers may need to be realistic about pricing. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased when prices were higher. The model’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, especially among shoppers who want a large, traditional SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Nissan Armada safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Armada also includes adaptive cruise control with full speed range, intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent lane intervention, and rear-door alert. A trailer brake controller is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum models, while trailer sway control is standard on the SL and Platinum.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 combines a strong V8, roomy cabin, and truck-based character in a way that suits buyers who want traditional full-size SUV capability.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,039, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $31,161 average.
• It offers a refreshed look and upgraded technology.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market value story and the same core Armada formula with solid owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the better price-sensitive path.
