Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB cost?

Prices have softened 12.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,256 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

That lines up with the GLB’s focus on practicality: it’s designed to maximize utility in a compact, boxy shape, can seat up to seven people, and still brings the premium features you expect from a Mercedes. The tradeoff is that its driving character can involve compromises in daily use, even though it can be especially enjoyable on a twisting mountain road.

The market also shows 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLB’s practicality and utility help its case, and the expert evaluation also points to a vehicle that makes a strong argument for itself among luxury brands because of its usable packaging. The performance notes suggest the GLB250 is the better daily-driver choice, while the AMG version brings more excitement but also more compromises in comfort and refinement.

The cost-effectiveness commentary also reinforces that you should expect luxury-brand ownership costs rather than bargain-level running expenses. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a well-equipped GLB can be more satisfying than economical, especially if you choose a higher-spec version with more complex hardware.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or a long option list. Focus on overall condition, because the GLB’s appeal depends heavily on how well its premium features, cabin materials, and technology have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLB250 is the more practical choice for daily use, while the AMG GLB35 adds a more powerful drivetrain, more aggressive styling cues, and a more performance-focused character. The base GLB250 can be equipped with front-wheel drive or 4Matic all-wheel drive, and the AMG version has exclusive vertical grille bars that distinguish it from the lesser model.
• Powertrain: Both versions use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, but the AMG GLB35 is tuned for much stronger output and pairs it with an AMG SpeedShift eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The GLB250 is the easier choice for everyday driving, while the AMG model is quicker but less comfortable in routine use.
• Safety package: The available Driver Assistance Package adds 12 driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies, including adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance. The test vehicle lacked several features from that package, including evasive steering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic warning, and Active Emergency Stop Assist.
• Infotainment: The GLB uses Mercedes-Benz User Experience, and the AMG GLB35 includes a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. All GLB models have Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mercedes Me connected services, while the available Multimedia Package adds navigation with augmented reality.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLB250 4Matic is rated at 25 mpg combined, while the AMG GLB35 is rated at 22 mpg combined. The AMG version trades efficiency for performance, so it makes sense only if you value the extra speed and sharper driving feel.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB is offered in 2 trim levels: GLB250 and AMG GLB35.

Here's the short version:

• GLB250: This is the better-value choice for most used buyers because it delivers the GLB’s core strengths — space, practicality, and premium features — without the AMG model’s firmer ride, louder road noise, and more finicky daily behavior. It’s the trim to target if you want the most balanced ownership experience.
• AMG GLB35: Choose this if you want the quickest, most engaging GLB and you’re willing to accept a firmer suspension, more aggressive powertrain behavior, and a more performance-focused personality. It’s the enthusiast pick, not the everyday comfort pick.

The safety package is worth seeking out on either trim, since the available Driver Assistance Package adds a meaningful set of advanced driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,256 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,827, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB's resale value?

The current average of $25,827 sits slightly below last year's $29,458.

That decline suggests the GLB has become more attractive to used buyers, which can help future sellers by keeping the model competitive on price. If you buy well now, you may be starting from a more favorable entry point than owners who purchased when prices were higher.

The GLB’s strong practicality and premium-brand appeal should continue to support demand, especially for shoppers who want a compact SUV with extra seating and a distinctive shape. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB safe?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The available Driver Assistance Package adds 12 driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies, including adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assistance. Standard equipment includes Active Brake Assist, blind-spot monitoring, Mercedes-Benz emergency call service, rain-sensing wipers, Attention Assist, and Exit Warning Assist.

One important caveat is that the test vehicle did not have the optional Driver Assistance Package, so several advanced safety features were missing from that example. For used shoppers, that makes it especially important to confirm whether a specific listing includes the package you want.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It combines a compact footprint, seven-passenger seating, and strong technology in a way that makes it especially practical.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,924, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,827 average.
• It stands out for flexible space and an optional third row.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market value story and a well-equipped compact luxury SUV, the 2022 is the better path. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly alternative, especially if you can live with its older setup.
