Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB for Sale near Ohio

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 5.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Form and function and Safety.

It brings a comfortable ride, standard all-wheel drive, and a spacious cabin, which makes it practical for everyday use. At the same time, it falls short on range, performance, and build quality compared with other leading EVs in its class, and the interior materials can feel cheap for the price.

The EQB is best if you want an accessible Mercedes EV with useful space and standard AWD, but you should be ready for compromises in driving excitement and cabin polish. Good and great deals account for 40.6% of listings, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The EQB is described as a straightforward electric crossover with standard dual motors and a conventional Mercedes layout, and its braking and everyday drivability come across as competent. Its performance notes also suggest the powertrain is tuned more for calm use than hard driving, which can be a plus if you want a predictable commuter EV.

Mercedes also notes that the EQB’s charging and battery setup are designed to support regular use, with a 70.5-kWh battery and a promised half-hour charge from 10 to 80 percent. If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is that range, charging speed, and interior wear may matter more than outright mechanical durability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because the EQB’s value depends heavily on condition and equipment. Focus on whether the car has the options you want, since several convenience and driver-assistance features were optional rather than standard. Pay close attention to battery health, charging behavior, and whether the car has been used mostly for home charging or frequent DC fast charging.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lowest trim was described as feeling basic, with the best interior touches limited to the two 10.25-inch screens and ambient lighting. Higher trims add features such as leather seats and an illuminated passenger-side dash pattern, but the cabin still leans toward a budget feel.
• Powertrain: The EQB uses standard dual electric motors, with 225 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque in the 300 trim and 288 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque in the 350 trim. It is all-wheel drive in the 300 4Matic and 350 4Matic versions, and performance is described as modest rather than quick.
• Safety package: Forward emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, exit assist, and automatic high beams come standard. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, front cross-traffic braking, automatic lane changing, and other semi-automated features are optional regardless of trim.
• Infotainment: Two 10.25-inch screens come standard, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a wired connection. The system also supports a voice assistant, and the lighting and screen themes are a standout part of the cabin experience.
• Range & charging: The EQB offers up to 243 miles of range, uses a 70.5-kWh battery, and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in about half an hour on a 100-kW DC fast charger. Real-world range can be notably lower, so charging habits matter.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should ask for battery state-of-health information, review charging history, and confirm whether the car has spent most of its life on home charging or frequent DC fast charging. You should also check how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB is offered in 2 trim levels: EQB300 and EQB350.

Here's the short version:

• EQB300: This is the lower-priced choice, and it gives you the standard dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup with 225 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque. It makes sense if you want the entry point into the EQB lineup and care more about value than extra punch.
• EQB350: This is the stronger version, with 288 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. If you want the best-value trim for everyday use, this is the one to consider because it adds more performance without changing the EQB’s basic formula.

Forward emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, exit assist, and automatic high beams come standard, while other driver-assistance features remain optional across the lineup.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 EQB is Mercedes’ entry-level electric crossover, with standard all-wheel drive, a spacious cabin, and a starting price under $55,000.

The bottom line: If you want the earliest EQB and you value standard AWD, a roomy cabin, and a relatively accessible Mercedes EV price, the 2022 is the straightforward choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it’s worth comparing nearby model years for a better mix of range, equipment, and value before you commit.
