Used 2022 Mazda CX-30 for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2022 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 2.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,126 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.7/5, and the expert rating is 8.00/10. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the stylish design, premium-feeling interior, quiet ride, and strong performance. The CX-30 also gets credit for its spacious cabin and upscale feel, which helps it stand out in the subcompact SUV class.

The main trade-offs are the underwhelming base engine and the confusing infotainment system. It fits you best if you want a small crossover that feels more polished and engaging than many rivals, rather than one that prioritizes simplicity or maximum practicality.

Good and great deals account for 36.0% of listings, which is a healthy sign of market availability.

Is the 2022 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for the CX-30’s performance, quiet ride, and overall satisfaction. The review summary also suggests it holds up well as a daily driver, even if some owners mention minor electrical issues and visibility concerns.

The expert evaluation also describes the CX-30 as refined and confidence-inspiring, with a premium feel that supports long-term appeal. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you can live with the infotainment and visibility quirks over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mazda CX-30?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free listings are common but not universal. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on visibility-related concerns, electrical oddities, and whether the infotainment system behaves the way you expect. It also makes sense to confirm that the cabin, controls, and ride quality match the premium impression you’re paying for.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2.5 S comes with standard all-wheel drive, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an eight-speaker stereo, while the 2.5 S Select adds synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, roof rails, and rear vents. The 2.5 S Preferred adds a power sunroof, heated front seats, and an eight-way power driver’s seat, and the 2.5 S Premium adds a power liftgate, full leather upholstery, a head-up display, and adaptive headlights. The Turbo Premium Plus adds front-and-rear parking sensors and additional driver-assistance features.
• Powertrain: The base 2.5-liter four-cylinder makes 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque, while the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder makes 227 hp and 310 lb-ft on 87 octane fuel, or 250 hp and 320 lb-ft on 93 octane fuel. The turbo engine brings stronger acceleration, and the six-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive help keep the CX-30 composed.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward collision avoidance, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, rain-sensing wipers, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims can add blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic-sign recognition, front-and-rear parking sensors, and reverse automatic emergency braking.
• Infotainment: The CX-30 uses an 8.8-inch screen controlled by a rotary dial and toggle buttons rather than touch input. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system also includes Bluetooth and HD radio. The setup is elegant, but it can be distracting and has a steep learning curve.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine is rated at 24 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined, while the turbo engine returns 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. In testing, the CX-30 averaged 24.3 mpg.

Which 2022 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 7 trim levels: 2.5 S, 2.5 S Select, 2.5 S Preferred, 2.5 S Premium, Turbo, Turbo Premium, and Turbo Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5 S: This is the value starting point if you want standard all-wheel drive, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the core safety and convenience features without stretching the budget.
• 2.5 S Select: This is the first trim that meaningfully improves comfort with synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, roof rails, and rear vents, making it a smart step up for many shoppers.
• 2.5 S Preferred: Choose this if you want a more upscale daily driver, thanks to the power sunroof, heated front seats, and power driver’s seat.
• 2.5 S Premium: This is the better pick if you want the most luxury-like feel from the non-turbo side, with leather upholstery, a head-up display, adaptive headlights, and a power liftgate.
• Turbo: Pick this if stronger acceleration matters more than extra comfort features, since it adds the turbocharged engine’s more energetic character.
• Turbo Premium: This is the better choice if you want turbo power plus a richer equipment mix, while staying below the top trim.
• Turbo Premium Plus: This is the most fully equipped version, adding front-and-rear parking sensors and the most complete driver-assistance setup.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the higher trims add useful driver-assistance features that make daily driving easier.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,126 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,460, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $22,341 sits slightly below last year's $22,888.

That decline suggests the CX-30 has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim choice rather than broad market momentum alone.

The CX-30’s premium image and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment are likely to hold attention better than stripped-down or heavily worn ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2022 Mazda CX-30 earns a Top Safety Pick+ award from IIHS and five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision avoidance, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, rain-sensing wipers, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims can add blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic-sign recognition, front-and-rear parking sensors, and reverse automatic emergency braking.

One useful caveat is that some of the more advanced driver-assistance features are reserved for higher trims, so you should confirm the exact equipment on any used listing you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2022 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines upscale design, strong safety, and engaging driving manners in a polished package.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,428, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $22,341 average.
• It emphasizes premium design and engaging driving dynamics at a lower price.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,570, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $22,341 average.
• It adds a more powerful base engine and improved side-impact collision protection.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, safety, and upscale feel, the 2022 is the strongest all-around pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the better value play, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer updates and can pay more.
