Used 2022 Maserati Levante for Sale nearPhiladelphia, PA

How much does the 2022 Maserati Levante cost?

Prices have softened 7.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 411 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Maserati Levante a good car?

The 2022 Maserati Levante earns a 7.7/10 expert rating, and its strongest category is Performance at 9/10.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

That score lines up with the Levante’s performance-focused character: it pairs twin-turbocharged engines with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, and it’s meant to feel engaging rather than merely competent. The trade-offs are clear in the expert review: not much cargo space and manual transmission not available. If you want a midsize luxury SUV that prioritizes style and driving enjoyment over maximum practicality, this is the kind of vehicle that fits that brief.

There are 36.3% good or great deals in the market, which suggests you can still find attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Maserati Levante reliable?

The 2022 Maserati Levante is described as a vehicle that shares technology and engineering with other Stellantis brands, which helps support its equipment and driver-assistance setup. The expert review also notes that it is a thirsty SUV, and the ownership experience is framed around keeping up with maintenance and keeping the miles down.

Its performance hardware is substantial, with twin-turbocharged engines, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive, and the review says it drives well on all manner of roads. The cost-effectiveness commentary also points out that Levante SUVs seem to be holding their value reasonably well, which is a positive sign for buyers thinking about long-term ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is an expensive, low-volume luxury SUV, so deferred maintenance or neglected upkeep can become costly quickly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Maserati Levante?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV with a performance focus. Pay close attention to maintenance records, signs of hard use, and whether the vehicle’s condition matches its asking price. Because this model is expensive to own and not especially practical, you’ll want to make sure the example you choose has been cared for consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Levante GT already includes leather seating, navigation, and a Harman Kardon audio system, while higher trims add more luxury and performance-focused equipment. The Trofeo stands out with carbon-fiber interior trim panels, magnesium paddle shifters, quilted leather seats, and an Alcantara headliner.
• Powertrain: The Levante uses twin-turbocharged engines, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. The performance range runs from the 345-hp V6 in the GT to the 580-hp V8 in the Trofeo, with selectable drive modes and air suspension contributing to the driving character.
• Safety package: A Driver Assistance Package is available on the GT and Modena and standard on the Modena S and Trofeo. It adds adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning plus with autonomous emergency braking, a 360-degree surround-view camera, traffic sign recognition, active driving assist, and pedestrian recognition. Maserati’s active driving assist is called Highway Assist System (HAS), and it can help maintain following distance, keep the SUV centered in its lane, and bring it to a complete stop when necessary.
• Infotainment: The standard system uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and it includes Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, voice control, smartwatch connectivity, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.
• Fuel efficiency: The Levante is described as thirsty and having poor fuel economy.

Which 2022 Maserati Levante trim should I buy?

The 2022 Maserati Levante is offered in 4 trim levels: GT, Modena, Modena S, Trofeo.

Here's the short version:

• GT: This is the entry point, but it still comes with leather seating, navigation, and a Harman Kardon audio system, so you’re not starting from a stripped-down SUV. It’s the trim to consider if you want the Levante experience at the lowest price and can live without the extra performance and luxury hardware higher up the range.
• Modena: This trim adds more power than the GT and keeps the Levante’s core performance character intact. It’s the step up if you want a stronger engine without jumping all the way to the upper-end V8 models.
• Modena S: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete package, because the Driver Assistance Package is standard here and it adds a long list of useful safety tech. It also brings the V8 powertrain and upgraded braking hardware, making it a strong middle ground for shoppers who want more capability and more equipment.
• Trofeo: This is the top performance and luxury trim, with the most powerful engine and the richest appointments, including carbon-fiber interior trim panels, magnesium paddle shifters, quilted leather seats, and an Alcantara headliner. Choose it if you want the most dramatic Levante experience and are willing to pay for it.

The Driver Assistance Package is optional on the GT and Modena, but standard on the Modena S and Trofeo.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Maserati Levante?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, compare, and negotiate.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 411 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,170, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Maserati Levante's resale value?

The current average of $36,170 sits slightly below last year's $39,253.

That price movement suggests the Levante has softened enough to create a better entry point for used buyers than it offered a year ago. For a future seller, that means you should expect value retention to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than on broad market momentum alone.

Because the used market is relatively small, clean examples can still stand out. If you keep the vehicle well maintained and avoid piling on miles, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Is the 2022 Maserati Levante safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Levante does not have released NHTSA or IIHS crash-test ratings in the source material, so the expert safety score is the main benchmark here. Maserati does offer a Driver Assistance Package that adds adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning plus with autonomous emergency braking, a 360-degree surround-view camera, traffic sign recognition, active driving assist, and pedestrian recognition. Maserati’s Highway Assist System can help maintain following distance, keep the SUV centered in its lane, and bring it to a complete stop when necessary.

A key caveat is that the package is not standard on every trim, so you’ll want to confirm whether the specific vehicle you’re considering has it equipped.

Should I buy a 2022 Maserati Levante or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.85% compared with last year.
• The 2022 model is positioned as a performance-focused midsize luxury SUV with strong driving appeal and a 7.7/10 expert rating.

The bottom line: If you want the Levante’s style-and-performance formula and you’re shopping for value, the 2022 is a sensible year to target because prices have eased and there’s still a workable amount of inventory. If you’re especially price-sensitive, focus on the lower end of the range and prioritize clean-history examples with the right equipment.
