That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make future resale a little more challenging if you buy at the wrong point in the range. Demand should remain supported by the model's strong owner satisfaction and performance appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Maserati Levante or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,879, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $30,260 average.
• It adds twin-turbo engine choices and all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2021 if you want the better value and a broader set of lower-priced listings. If you want the newer model year and are willing to pay more for its updated performance-focused setup, the 2022 is the stronger premium choice.
