What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on cabin condition, electronics, and signs of prior bodywork so you can separate a well-kept luxury SUV from one that has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lincoln Aviator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,351 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,140, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $34,140 sits slightly below last year's $41,089.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the current pricing trend means you should be selective about trim, condition, and mileage so you don’t overpay relative to the market. Well-kept examples should still draw interest from shoppers who want a refined three-row luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.91% compared with last year.

• It emphasizes comfort with a soft ride and premium materials.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,595, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $34,140 average.
