How much does the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 15.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 946 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is a compelling choice if you want a luxury SUV that mixes serious off-road hardware with a more driver-focused feel than many large SUVs. It earns a user rating of 3/5, and its full-time four-wheel drive, Terrain Response system, upscale cabin, and strong performance make it appealing if you value style and capability together. The broad powertrain lineup also gives you flexibility if you want a high-end SUV with multiple ways to fit your needs. The market currently shows 38.7% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is described as having poor reliability, and that is one of the biggest tradeoffs you need to weigh against its luxury and capability. It also comes with expensive ownership costs, so the appeal is less about low-stress ownership and more about getting a distinctive SUV with real off-road credibility and strong road presence. For a used buyer, that means long-term ownership risk is higher than average, especially if you want predictable running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on mechanical condition, electronics, and signs of hard use. A clean history report matters here, but so does confirming that the SUV has been maintained properly and that all luxury and off-road systems work as intended. Because ownership costs can be high, it is worth being especially selective about condition and service records.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop without rushing.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 946 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,543, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $43,543 sits slightly below last year's $51,354.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the sting of depreciation. Still, this is the kind of SUV where resale value will depend heavily on mileage, maintenance history, and overall condition.

Should I buy a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.21% compared with last year.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $33,153, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $43,543 average.
• It feels more well-rounded and versatile.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $62,233, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $43,543 average.
• It emphasizes style and off-road strength more than on-road polish.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best fit if you want the current-year balance of capability, luxury, and a softer market price. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the smarter value play because it costs less while still delivering the Range Rover Sport formula.
