Used 2022 Land Rover Range Rover for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

How much does the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover cost?

Prices have softened 13.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,271 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The redesign is subtle from the outside, but the cabin is simpler and the technology is notably improved. If you want a large premium luxury SUV that also brings off-road capability, this is a strong starting point. The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and not much cargo space.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 39.5% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Range Rover’s appeal here is rooted in refinement: the cabin feels premium, the ride is exceptionally smooth, and the vehicle is built to deliver calm, composed driving even on rough roads. Its off-road hardware and standard four-wheel drive add capability without making the SUV feel truck-like in everyday use.

The powertrain and chassis tuning also support confidence, with smooth shifting and a composed, easy-to-drive character. The infotainment and cabin updates help the vehicle feel more modern, which matters when you plan to keep a luxury SUV for years.

If you buy used, the biggest long-term ownership risk is that its upscale complexity and premium positioning can make upkeep more demanding than a mainstream SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Land Rover Range Rover?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV with advanced electronics and off-road hardware. Focus on overall condition, signs of heavy use, and whether the vehicle’s features operate as intended. A clean-looking listing is not enough; you want confirmation that the vehicle has been maintained and hasn’t absorbed hidden damage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is simplified with fewer buttons and knobs, and the larger touchscreen gives the interior a more modern look. The base setup already feels premium, but you should compare equipment carefully because the standard feature set is not as expansive as some rivals.
• Powertrain: The base turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder mild hybrid makes 395 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, while the available twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 makes 523 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic and standard four-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system. Some rivals offer additional features such as advanced high beams, safe exit warnings, and emergency stop functions.
• Infotainment: The Range Rover uses a 13-inch touchscreen with the Pivi Pro system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. It also includes a wireless charging pad, with Amazon Alexa integration, remote automated parking, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and smartphone app control available.
• Fuel efficiency: The six-cylinder Range Rover is estimated at 21 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2022 Land Rover Range Rover trim should I buy?

The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover is offered in 2 trim levels: P400 and P530.

Here's the short version:

• P400: This is the better-value choice if you want the core Range Rover experience without chasing maximum output. It still gives you the refined cabin, strong comfort, standard four-wheel drive, and the smooth, effortless character that defines the model.
• P530: Choose this if you want the more powerful twin-turbo V8 and are willing to pay for the extra performance. It suits buyers who want the most muscular version of the Range Rover and are less concerned about cost.

The standard safety package is strong, but rivals may offer a few extra driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Land Rover Range Rover?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,271 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,681, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $53,681 sits slightly below last year's $61,977.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because this is a premium SUV with strong desirability and a loyal audience, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. The key is to preserve the vehicle’s condition and documentation so it stands out when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover safe?

The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover does not have published crash test results from NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system. The surround-view cameras are especially useful when maneuvering off-road or in tight spaces.

A notable shortcoming is that some rivals offer additional safety features such as advanced high beams, safe exit warnings, and emergency stop functions. That means the Range Rover is well equipped, but not class-leading in every safety category.

Should I buy a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 brings a redesign with a simpler interior and notably improved technology.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $39,683, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $53,681 average.
• It offers multiple powertrain options and a distinctly upscale cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the newer redesign, improved tech, and a stronger current-market shopping position, the 2022 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you can live with the older-generation feel, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path.
