Used 2022 Kia EV6 for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2022 Kia EV6 cost?

Prices have softened 6.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 639 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Kia EV6 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Kia EV6 earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, powerful performance, and stylish design, and many also like the spacious interior and advanced safety features. The overview frames it as a fun-to-drive electric performance car with standout styling and impressive technology, which fits the strong enthusiasm in owner feedback.

The main trade-offs are unimpressive electric range and limited cargo space, and the expert review also points to weak value for the money. Even so, the EV6’s mix of style, tech, and driving enjoyment makes it appealing if you want something more distinctive than a typical EV. Good and great deals account for 39.3% of listings, so there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Kia EV6 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a reliable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise for the EV6’s smooth ride and the sense that it feels well sorted over time. The expert review also emphasizes how quickly and effectively the EV6 routes torque, and it describes the car as easy to live with when it comes to charging and daily use.

The cost-effectiveness review adds that you should charge at home every day or be selective about whether this is the right EV for you, which matters for long-term ownership planning. For used buyers, the biggest risk is not mechanical drama so much as battery-related range loss and charging habits that may have reduced real-world usability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Kia EV6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because accident-free listings are common but not guaranteed. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on battery condition, charging behavior, tire wear, and whether the car has been used heavily in cold-weather or fast-charging conditions. Since this is an EV, you should also pay close attention to how much usable range it still delivers in normal driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Light trim is the least desirable choice because it pairs the smallest battery with an undersized single motor, while the Wind RWD is the better starting point and the GT-Line adds more equipment and capability. The base trim also gets the standard driver-assistance suite, but higher trims add useful extras such as front parking sensors, automatic rear braking, 360 cameras, and evasive steering assist.
• Powertrain: The EV6 uses either a single-motor rear-drive setup or a dual-motor e-AWD setup, with the dual-motor GT-Line making 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque. The single-motor Wind and GT-Line versions use the larger battery with 225 horsepower, while the base Light has 167 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: The standard Highway Driving Assist suite includes lane-keeping, cyclist and pedestrian detection, front and rear cross-traffic alert, a driver attention monitor, rear parking sensors, safe exit warning, and rear occupant alert. Front parking sensors come on the Wind RWD, the Wind AWD adds automatic rear braking and 360 cameras, and the GT-Line adds evasive steering assist and more advanced adaptive cruise behavior.
• Infotainment: You get dual 12-inch screens, a wireless charger, navigation, and a quick, easy-to-use interface. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not included, so you need a wired connection for phone projection, and higher trims can add a 14-speaker Meridian stereo and remote parking.
• Range & charging: The EV6 uses a 77-kilowatt-hour battery on the stronger versions, and the review notes that it can accept up to 240 kW on a fast charger. Real-world cold-weather range was disappointing in testing, so you should verify how the car charges and how much range it still delivers in everyday use.
• Battery health: Ask for battery state-of-health information if it’s available, and pay attention to whether the car has mostly been charged at home or relied heavily on DC fast charging. You should also confirm how much of the battery warranty remains and review charging history for signs of unusually aggressive use.

Which 2022 Kia EV6 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Kia EV6 is offered in 4 trim levels: Light, Wind RWD, Wind AWD, GT-Line.

Here's the short version:

• Light: This is the least appealing choice because it has the smallest battery and the weakest motor, and the review explicitly says not to recommend it. It does include the standard safety suite, but you’re better off moving up if you want the EV6’s strengths to come through.
• Wind RWD: This is the best-value starting point because it brings the larger battery and a more acceptable single-motor setup without jumping straight to the pricier dual-motor versions. If you want the EV6 experience without overpaying, this is the trim to focus on first.
• Wind AWD: Choose this if you want all-wheel drive plus added safety hardware such as automatic rear braking and 360 cameras. It makes sense if you value extra traction and parking confidence more than the lowest possible price.
• GT-Line: This is the most desirable trim if you want the fullest mix of performance, tech, and equipment, including the dual-motor setup, stronger output, evasive steering assist, and the more advanced adaptive cruise behavior. It’s the right pick if you want the EV6 at its most complete.

The standard safety package is strong even on the base trim, but the higher trims add meaningful convenience and driver-assistance upgrades.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Kia EV6?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 639 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,573, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Kia EV6's resale value?

The current average of $22,650 sits slightly below last year's $24,290.

That decline suggests the EV6 has already moved through some early depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. The current market also shows a fairly defined price band, so condition, trim, and equipment should matter a lot when it comes time to resell.

Because the model has strong styling and a distinctive identity, well-kept examples should still stand out to shoppers looking for a used EV with personality. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Kia EV6 safe?

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The available tech and a driver's knee airbag come standard on every EV6, and the standard Highway Driving Assist suite is broad for the class. That suite includes lane-keeping, cyclist and pedestrian detection, front and rear cross-traffic alert, a driver attention monitor, rear parking sensors, safe exit warning, and rear occupant alert.

Higher trims add more safety hardware, including front parking sensors on the Wind RWD, automatic rear braking and 360 cameras on the Wind AWD, and evasive steering assist on the GT-Line. The main caveat is that there are no published U.S. crash test results from government or independent agencies for this model year.

Should I buy a 2022 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The expert review says the EV6 is a standout for style, tech, and driving enjoyment, but it also notes disappointing cold-weather range and weak value.

The bottom line: If you want the EV6’s distinctive styling, strong tech, and lively driving character, the 2022 is a compelling used buy as long as you’re comfortable with its range limitations and can charge at home. If you’re especially price-sensitive, shop carefully for a Wind RWD or a well-priced Light only if the battery and range expectations make sense for your needs.
