That kind of score suggests the model is meeting expectations for a lot of drivers, especially if you value a small SUV with broad appeal. What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Jeep Renegade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the report closely for prior damage, title issues, and repeated repairs, even if a listing appears clean. Pay extra attention to signs of wear that could affect daily usability and long-term ownership costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Jeep Renegade?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,102 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,956, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Jeep Renegade's resale value?

The current average of $18,956 sits slightly below last year's $20,047.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average matters more than usual. A clean history and strong condition should help protect value when it's time to trade in or list privately.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Jeep Renegade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $16,217, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $18,956 average.
• It offers practical utility with Jeep's distinctive off-road character.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2022 if you want the newer-year pricing context, decent deal availability, and a broad pool of listings to compare. If your priority is stretching your budget, the 2021 is the better value path because it comes in meaningfully lower while still delivering the Renegade's core appeal.
