Used 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer for Sale nearBuffalo, NY

How much does the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer cost?

Prices have softened 17.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 756 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 7.00/10. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise the advanced interior, spaciousness, comfort, and towing capability. The Grand Wagoneer is also framed as a family-friendly full-size SUV with premium materials and a lot of tech, which fits its role as Jeep’s flagship three-row model. The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and weak value for money, and the expert review also notes that it can feel ungainly at higher speeds.

For you, that means this is a better fit if you want a luxury-oriented SUV with space, comfort, and features rather than a bargain-minded purchase. Good and great deals account for 39.4% of listings, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for comfort, family usefulness, and towing confidence. The expert review also emphasizes a quiet cabin and a suspension that soaks up bumps well, which supports the sense that it’s built for long-haul comfort. Jeep’s three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty add some ownership protection.

The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that reliability concerns and high fuel costs can make it more expensive to live with than you might expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re considering, because accident-free status does not replace a full ownership and repair record. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a vehicle this complex and expensive to maintain. Focus on condition, electronics, suspension behavior, and signs of hard use, since those are the kinds of issues that can matter most on a luxury full-size SUV.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Grand Wagoneer launches in Series I, Series II, Series III, and Obsidian trim levels. The cabin gets 24-way power front seats with memory, massage, lumbar support, and four-way power headrests, plus heated and ventilated first- and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, Nappa leather upholstery, and available Palermo leather, aluminum, and American Walnut wood trim. The best-value trim is the midlevel Series II, which was the test vehicle and sits in the middle of the lineup.
• Powertrain: The Grand Wagoneer uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also has cylinder deactivation for improved fuel economy, standard four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, an electronic limited-slip differential, and Selec-Terrain drive modes.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes a 360-degree camera system, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection collision assist, and rear parking sensors. Active Driving Assist combines adaptive cruise control with automated lane centering, but it still requires you to keep your hands on the wheel.
• Infotainment: The standard setup includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with 3D graphics, dual touchscreens, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a McIntosh audio system, simultaneous pairing for two Bluetooth phones, and a 4G-LTE WiFi hotspot that can support up to eight devices. It also uses Uconnect 5 with OTA software update capability.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA ratings are 13 mpg city, 18 mpg highway, and 15 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer trim should I buy?

The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is offered in 4 trim levels: Series I, Series II, Series III, and Obsidian.

Here's the short version:

• Series I: This is the entry point, but it still brings the Grand Wagoneer’s core luxury formula, including the big V8, standard 4WD, and the upscale cabin hardware that defines the model. If you want the lowest starting point into the lineup, this is where you begin.
• Series II: This is the best-value trim because it sits in the middle of the range and was the test vehicle. It gives you the Grand Wagoneer experience without jumping all the way to the highest-priced versions.
• Series III: This is the top conventional luxury choice if you want the most expensive, most fully equipped version in the lineup. It makes sense if you want the richest feature set and are willing to pay for it.
• Obsidian: This is the style-focused trim in the lineup, and it’s the one to consider if you want the Grand Wagoneer’s luxury and presence with a more distinctive look.

Standard safety equipment includes the 360-degree camera system, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection collision assist, and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 756 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,796, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer's resale value?

The current average of $42,796 sits slightly below last year's $52,166.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The model’s premium positioning and strong feature content can still support demand, but the current trend shows that buyers have become more price-sensitive.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include a 360-degree camera system, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection collision assist, and rear parking sensors. Active Driving Assist adds automated lane centering, but it still requires you to keep your hands on the wheel. Jeep also offers optional driver-attention monitoring, night vision, traffic-sign recognition, and a later hands-free system.

Crash-test ratings were not available yet for this model year at the time of review.

Should I buy a 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 stands out for its powerful engine, premium interior materials, and impressive technology, while also delivering the luxury-SUV blend of off-road capability and comfort that Jeep was aiming for.

The bottom line: If you want the Grand Wagoneer’s flagship experience, the 2022 is the right starting point because it combines strong equipment, a lower average price than a year ago, and a healthy amount of inventory. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping carefully for a listing near the low end of the range, since the market still rewards selective buyers.
