Used 2022 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearSpringfield, MO

How much does the 2022 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 13.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,309 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare on price and equipment.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Hyundai Palisade earns a 4.59/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

User feedback repeatedly points to spaciousness, luxury features, a smooth ride, advanced technology, and strong safety appeal for families. The main trade-offs are road noise and some missing convenience features on pricier versions.

That lines up with the Palisade’s family-first mission in the overview: you get a roomy three-row crossover with a polished presentation and a quiet cabin, but the interface can be frustrating because the technology is unintuitive and the touchscreen response is sluggish. Even so, 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive buys in the market.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.59/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback describes the Palisade as a dependable, trouble-free choice with strong long-term appeal, especially for families who value comfort and space. The expert evaluation also points to a strong warranty package and complimentary maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership friction.

The powertrain is built around a naturally aspirated V6 with direct injection and an eight-speed automatic, a setup that favors straightforward durability over complexity. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core mechanicals and more about making sure the vehicle’s condition and maintenance history match its premium positioning.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate, because accident-free status is only a starting point. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the cabin electronics, touchscreen behavior, and overall wear, since the model’s tech can be a pain point. Focus on condition and equipment level, especially if you want the features that make higher trims feel worth the money.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE is well-equipped, while the Limited and Calligraphy add a more upscale feel with larger displays, premium audio, surround view, and a head-up display. The base trim also misses some of the richer tech and convenience features that make the upper trims feel near-luxury.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.8-liter V6 with direct gasoline injection and an eight-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. Efficiency is not class-leading, but the setup delivers smooth, lag-free power and enough strength for family use.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-following assist, safe exit assist, and more. Highway Driving Assist is optional on SEL and standard on Limited and Calligraphy, so lower trims miss some of the more advanced highway support.
• Infotainment: The standard screen is 8 inches on SE and SEL, while Limited and Calligraphy get a 10.25-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the upper trims add a 1920 x 720 touchscreen, surround audio, and a digital instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: FWD models are rated at up to 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway/22 mpg combined, while AWD models are rated at 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway/21 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited, Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the value play if you want the Palisade’s core strengths without stretching your budget. It already gives you the roomy three-row layout, strong safety equipment, and the polished design that define the model.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds meaningful convenience and tech upgrades without jumping to luxury pricing. It’s the sweet spot if you want more features but still care about keeping the purchase sensible.
• Limited: This trim is for you if you want the Palisade to feel more upscale, with the larger display, premium audio, surround-view camera, head-up display, and more advanced tech.
• Calligraphy: This is the near-luxury choice, with the richest presentation and the most premium equipment. It makes sense if you want the most refined version of the Palisade and are willing to pay for it.

Forward-looking parking sensors, ultrasonic rear occupant alert, and Highway Driving Assist are optional on SEL and standard on Limited and Calligraphy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Hyundai Palisade?

This is a buyer-friendly market, with plenty of inventory and a meaningful share of listings priced below the market average.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,309 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.51% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,915, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $25,915 sits slightly below last year's $29,963.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means there may be less upside than in a rising market, so condition and trim choice matter more if you want to protect value. Well-equipped versions with strong demand should still be easier to move than stripped-down examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.59/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade is a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS and earns five-star ratings from NHTSA for both FWD and AWD models.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes seven airbags, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-following assist, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, and trailer sway control. Highway Driving Assist is optional on SEL and standard on Limited and Calligraphy, so the more advanced highway support is not universal across the lineup.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.59/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a polished design, spacious third row, and strong safety credentials.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $23,229, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,915 average.
• It adds more standard equipment and a new luxury-themed trim.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,223, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,915 average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard tech and safety features.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2022 if you want the best balance of price, safety, and family-friendly space. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the better value path; if you want newer styling and added features, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
