It also notes the wet eight-speed DCT’s clutch efficiency, gearing, and cooling advantages, which support confidence in the drivetrain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Hyundai Elantra N?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance sedan that may have seen spirited driving. Focus on overall condition, signs of track use, and whether the car’s maintenance history matches its mileage and age. Pay extra attention to the drivetrain, clutch behavior if it’s a manual, and any signs that the car has been modified or abused.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin uses leather-trimmed sport seats with microsuede inserts, strong bolstering, and a lower seating position than the standard Elantra, while the exterior adds black-and-red N-specific styling, a wing-type rear spoiler, and limited color choices. The base setup is already well equipped, so you should mainly judge whether the performance-focused details and cabin presentation fit your needs.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-liter turbo-four with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed N-tuned wet DCT, plus 276 hp and 289 lb-ft of torque. The DCT is described as smoother and more confident in use, while the manual has a quirky clutch that can be frustrating.
• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense includes automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, driver attention warning, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, lane-centering assistance, and rear cross-traffic alert with avoidance assist. Rear Occupant Alert and Safe Exit Warning are also standard, while reverse parking distance warning with collision avoidance is available only on Elantra Limited and N.
• Infotainment: The Elantra N gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, plus wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Qi charging, cloud-based navigation, and over-the-air updates.
• Fuel efficiency: No figure is stated in the provided data.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N's resale value?

That modest increase suggests the car has held value reasonably well, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. If you keep the car clean, documented, and unmodified, you should be in a better position when it’s time to list it.
