How much does the 2022 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 4.86% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,282 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and spacious interior, and many also like the feature content and long-drive comfort. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, refined midsize sedan with practical everyday usability and family-friendly packaging. There are 29.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights the Accord as a car many drivers feel good about living with over time, with comments pointing to dependable day-to-day use and a trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers. Some reviews do mention engine reliability concerns, so you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and mechanical condition. For used buyers, that means the long-term ownership risk is manageable, but only if you verify the car’s service record and overall condition carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Accord?

At 71.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for signs of poor bodywork, uneven tire wear, or other condition issues that may not show up in photos. Because this model is often bought for comfort and daily use, focus on the cabin, electronics, and overall maintenance quality as much as the exterior.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,282 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,642, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $23,799 sits slightly below last year's $25,016.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays cool. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter even more because buyers will have plenty of comparable listings to choose from. Strong maintenance records and a clean history should help you stand out when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,535, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,799 average.
• It offers a refreshed feature set with strong safety emphasis.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,903, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,799 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more engaging take on the Accord.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-liked Accord with softened pricing and broad market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want the newer redesign and can pay a bit more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
